So... how was the bookclub!??
The entire time I was sitting at dinner, eating a hot dog and listening to my 3 year old talk non.stop.about.dinosaurs, I was thinking "I could be eating Panera and having intellegent conversations, instead of dinosaur stories". As much as I love talking dinos with him, I really could use some real conversation with an adult! Ha!!
So, fill me in! Tell me how it went and who came and all that stuff

Re: So... how was the bookclub!??
I am sad I wasn't able to make it.. I got so busy at work and was here late. I was looking forward to meeting some of you ladies and I actually read and enjoyed the book!
Next month I am going to do my best to be there...
I really liked the book and I agree with you I really didn't like how they ended it. I would have loved to know if she ever got reconnected with her sisters and mom, especially the baby Mariah. She seems to have a great connection with her, like a mom figure. Makes me sad to think about the baby missing her.
I ended up having to work late too...I was bummed.
I loved the book, toward the end I was just on the edge of my seat!! I was really afraid that it wasn't going to be a happy ending for her. I was so glad she was able to get out. I was also really sad about the killing of the book mobile guy. I can't believe they killed him!
Really? I sat literally right in front of the door. I got there a few minutes before 6. Alex got there at about 6:15pm, and then we got food and sat in the middle. Where were you at? I looked around the whole place before I sat down, I don't know how I missed you!
Aw, I'm sad I missed it, and others missed it too. Stinks it was just a few of you, but at least it was a few and not just one.
I liked the book too. I had to remind myself a few times this wasn't a true story, but based on true life. I could never imagine living a life like that.
I imagine her to find her family and Joshua. I'd love to read a sequel to this book and have her and Joshua raise a family together- and find out what their 'ideal' family would look like.
