What is making you smile today?
Just to liven things up here a bit - I stole this from a friends FB page.

Re: What is making you smile today?
For me...
The idea of girls weekend with my BFF and my mom at her camper this weekend. Nothing to do, no one to answer to, no where I have to be... just girl time. Sounds heavenly after the last two weeks.
This weekend is my girls weekend too! The 4 of us are heading up to a state park for some weekend camping after work tomorrow. Friday can't be over soon enough!

I'm getting my hair cut tonight and I can't wait! I've had this one chunk of hair doing this flippy-outy thing for about a week now and I've been SOOOOO tempted to take a scissor to it but I've resisted!
I'm currently sitting out on my deck with an ice cold Spotted Cow. Meanwhile, my dog is acting like a total goon chasing around a few flies trying to catch them. This is all making me smile
Also- my cousin just got back from Europe where he's been since before the holidays. We're having a mini family reunion at my aunt and uncles this weekend. I'm really excited to see them all this weekend.

Super jealous that you have Spotted Cow right now. I need to make a run to pick some up soon!
Taking Lucy on a walk to Lake Phalen put a smile of my face today. She's such a happy dog, and she loved getting to cool off in the water! Also, knowing that we're leaving for the cabin this weekend is putting me in a much better mood (I was in a foul mood this morning due to some unexpected car insurance issues that I had to deal with). I can't wait to sit on the beach with a book, my DH and my pup, and have Zorbaz pizza for dinner
The flip flops from Target that DH bought me after he got off of work. I wore heels today that have murdered my feet and I couldn't take it any longer. He didn't get cheap 'ol plastic ones either. He went for some cute ones.

I actually slept 7.5 hours, which is strange since it was so sunny and warm today. (So much easier to sleep odd hours in the winter!)
I finally got my hair cut/reshaped. She put movement back into it and took out a ton of the bulk. It feels so much lighter and doesn't look like a$$ when I let it air dry.
I love Spotted Cow too! I definitely need to get some when we're in WI in a couple weeks.
My smile is watching my goofy son try to cruise around the yard with a cheesy grin on his face while my dog lays belly up soaking up the sun. They both make me smile everyday.
That my DH is coming home from working out of town tonight. He has been out of town for work every single week since the end of February. Tonight we are headed to a spa for a couples massage, scalp massage, foot treatment and facial. Then we are headed to a casual dinner along the river.
I cannot wait to relax tonight!
Maybe I'm an idiot, but what the heck is a Spotted Cow?
My smile: having absolutely Nothing that needs to be done today and DH starts his new job on Mon.
-a very exciting pregnancy announcement (Not me!)
-I only work 3 days next week. We are taking an anniversary trip to Chicago. I can't wait.
-the dishwasher we bought back in June is getting installed tomorrow by my Dad. Our kitchen will finally look normal! I was so happy to get rid of the old gross barely functioning portable one we had when we moved in.
