I need a Xanax
for my dog. Seriously. The guys are here to do our roof, and she is going nutso. Barks at every little thing. I'm working in a different room to try to stay away from the noise and seeing them, but her little doggy ears are still picking them up. I had to leave to go to my NST and I swear she barked the entire time I was gone. Then, when I got home, she chased one of the cats and bit him. Luckily she just got a tuft of hair stuck in her mouth, but that is not ok behavior! So the cats have retreated to an upstairs bedroom. Hopefully our afternoon will be a little less dramatic.
In other news the NST went just fine. Apparently I'm having very small contractions but I can't feel them. So the doctor on call sent me home, no big deal.
Re: I need a Xanax
It's been crazy with roofers in our neighborhood. Every house is getting a new roof courtesy of the hail storm. We had to take our pups to the vet when ours was being done, but it still drove them crazy when there were roofers at all the neighbors. It's been two months and the roofing is still going on.
Glad your NST test went well. Just think you are at one day closer to meeting Emily. : )

Unfortunately yes. Maya is a rat terrier, and she is extremely protective of me and will bark at everyone and anyone that comes near the house. Including DH when he comes home. It's normally not that bad because they come and go, or DH comes inside. The roofers have been here all day, making noise, walking around the house, etc. So she's freaking out.
Thankfully they finally finished and are gone. She's finally quiet!
