7 weeks?! Holy cow! How are you feeling? Are things ready for no. 2? Is Nate ready to be a big brother? Does this mean you had to get another crib?

I'm kind of in shock since figuring out it was only 7 weeks until my likely c/s date (Sep 14). It's so soon!!
We don't really have much to do to get ready for BB (that's baby brother), though. Since we're leaving the country in a few months, BB will sleep in the pack 'n' play while we live here. We need to pick up a few things (diapers, new bottle nipples and pacis, formula...) but otherwise, everything's good to go.
Nate's in for a big surprise: not being the center of attention anymore. He was hugging and kissing our friend's baby yesterday, though. He loves babies.
I didn't think they'd hold the job for me since I'm still a temp and they aren't required to, but my boss asked me this week if I want to come back afterwards. Of course, it wouldn't be a paid mat leave, but they do want to keep me on, so that's good. The thing is, 2 kids in daycare = 75% of my check. And Rodgers is home in the mornings. So if I could find a job with morning only hours, I'd actually be bringing home more money. I told her that I will probably need to work part time, which generally isn't an option here. I think she will try and see if we can work it out, though. We'll see. Otherwise, I'll be job hunting during recovery. We have enough in savings for me to be off for 2 months.
Rodgers is positive we'll move in Jan. If everything is ready to go and we have a good enough support base by then, we will. I think it may be closer to late Feb/early Mar.
