Waving the bull**** flag on this one.
If a jury buys his story, I'll not only be upset, but honestly afraid of the precedent it would set.
I feel so sorry for this supervisor's family. T&P go out to them.
As an aside, I think I heard on the news that the guy was told to lose 3% body fat in one day... If he was told to do it "in a day", he probably has known for a while that he was close to not meeting standards and put off working out/ dieting until the last couple days. Thanks a lot for the spin, media.
I agree with all of this. I've never failed tape, but I know you are given either 60 or 90 days (I'm thinking it's 90) to shed the weight before you are taped again for record. I'm betting this guy had one day left before his next record tape and freaked out. His story is crap.
