AW: Carpet in basement!
We got our carpet installed today! We decided to go with the Platinum Plus collection from Home Depot. The color is color is called Amondaze (whatever that is lol). But it matched perfectly with the cellular shades (sahara) we got also at HD. Lastly, the replacement TV came in perfect condition! The screen on the first one we received was cracked in multiple places.
The cabinets and bookcases are still a work in progress. The cabinets still need their tops and doors and the bookcases still need their shelves. But they are almost there. Then we'll do the mantle over the fireplace, which will also be the same wood stain as the cabinets/bookcases.

Holly, it came out fantastic! What a transformation from when I was there mid construction!
It looks so great! I'm so impressed... not to mention jealous!!
