not the best day i've ever had
i hate being thrown under the bus. seriously, f'ing hate it. i know that i'm blonde and 30 years old..but do NOT discount my ability to be financial savvy and aware. just because i'm a mom and i do this job part time does not make me someone who doesn't understand "the big picture".
i swear to God...why do i have to constantly prove myself?? is it because i'm young? female? what IS IT?

yes, a colleague of mine. i'm used to working with men...in the finance world that happens. but they just never seem to see me in the same light as them. i can't understand why!?

It may have something to do with the part time or the work from home. At my old job people that worked at the office always claimed that people that worked from home didn't actually work. I defended them all the time because on my team of 6 three of them were home in different states and they worked way more than half the people at the office.
People just don't get it. They make up things in their heads for no good reason. You are smart & a hardworker and you're prettier than those ugly men! So there!!
I don't know what that's like. I work in an office FULL of women who huff and puff and walk away if they don't like your response.
You're right though Bucks, it is because you have a vagina, breasts and are so intellegent that they don't know how to handle the confidence.
