Baby's room/furniture pics

So, I finally got around to getting these pics online. There's only two of the furniture before we painted it and no before pics of the room (it was just builder's white paint). We painted all the furniture in the final room except the crib which we just bought. I think it turned out great! There's still so much to do though. We need to put a chair in the corner and actually put some stuff up on the walls. But, so far, so good!

Mommy's little helper
The dresser I had as a kid was from that set! JCPenney circa late '70's.
Great work refinishing them and decorating the nursery!
The furniture looks great!! That's actually the set that I had growing up, and my parents gave it away a few years ago. I wanted to keep it to refinish some day but they wanted it out of the house. Now I'm miffed that it's gone after seeing how well yours turned out!!
Super cute. Can't wait to see more.
The furniture turned out amazing and i love the colors of the room.
What color paint did you use on the dressers?
Wow Jenni, it looks awesome!! If I hadn't known that you'd painted the dressers, I would have guessed that they were just stained that way! They look fantastic!!
How did it work out with the surface of the paint? Is it still a bit tacky or has it hardened up?
Thanks everyone! The stripes were a little annoying (taping up and everything) but we're so happy with how it turned out.
The furniture was actually a lot of work. We ended up with, I think, 8 coats of paint in the end (and there's a desk, chair, and headboard for when the baby's older that we did too) but it was definitely worth it. And we did a faux wood grain on it, so there's really two different paint colors that we used for contrast - I'll have to check what the colors are when I get home.
Thanks!
It's still not completely hard, but its getting a lot better. I'm hopeful that we won't have to put anything else on it to make it harder though. If we put something heavy on top them I bet it would leave some marks, but I think we could get away with something like a lamp at this point.
Do you have any close-up photos? I would love to see that! It sounds so cool!
I don't, but I can take some when I get home.
