  • Probably!!! LOL!

maybe its' not the best example of this person's all around douchery but it's just the straw that broke the camel's back today. she just has no manners at all, and it's really quite annoying. plus i dont get why people write like this AT WORK.

  • I actually find this type of communication quite common among coworkers. People are busy and I just don't see the point of being super formal with coworkers when trying to execute a project. I don't find it that unprofessional if you're not communicating with clients in this manner.
  • I've worked with plenty of unintelligent, annoying co-workers, so I feel your pain! It's much easier to let these kind of things slide from someone you respect, and whose intelligence is obvious. Otherwise, each thing adds to the pile of annoyance until you feel you just can't take it anymore!

  • I get emails like this all the time. I don't think it's a huge deal. Usually I know what the person is talking about and I don't need a long, nicely drafted email with a detailed explanation. I just chalk iy up to the fact that we don't have an instant message system at work.

This!  I think we just need some better examples too.  This can be intrepreted a lot of ways and it sounds like she might have set a precendent of being condescending.

EXACTLY!!  She comes off as ungrateful, and condescending all the time! Like if she asks me for something (mostly I have to send her files, and many at a time), she will write a rude email if something didn't transfer through, she'll cc everyone about it including my boss. Even though it's not my fault, it just happens sometimes. When everything transfers over perfectly, I don't even get a thank you. And the WAY she asks for the files is always very snarky. Like "am I going to see these files anytime in the near future?"  ALWAYS. I don't think I've gotten one nice email since we've started working together. She is a Douche! At least before she would write a full sentence. This email (the one from the original post) just blew my top off because she couldn't even take the time to write a bitchy email! LOL!!!

  • Sounds like she could write a post complaining that it seems that she spends her whole day waiting for you to get what she needs done.

You're overreacting, and compensating for your own contributions and accountability for things not going smoothly.

She's not overly friendly about it, but who knows what else is going on in her head regarding the notion of feeling like she had to send the e-mail in the first place.

    Get over it.

Oh Please! Are you one of those people who writes retarded unprofessional emails too? lol. Either that, or you've NEVER had the pleasure of working with someone who is constantly rude to you...lucky for you. Either way, nice try on analyzing the situation, but you are off base. And dont you worry, I'm WAY over it!
