Fun fun fun fun, gotta get down on Friiiiiday.
Not only is it Friday, it's also a long weekend! Does everyone get a long weekend? Or just us Cannucks? I can't believe that July is almost over! Where the heck did all the time go?
This weekend should be fun. We're heading out to Tim and Shannon's tonight. Tomorrow morning the boys are off (riding) to the bike shop to get their bikes tuned/fit properly and I'll be baking cupcakes. Then it's the girls party followed by an evening for the grownups.
Sunday and Monday are ??? but we've packed enough clothes and left the cats enough food and water that we can be away guilt free.
What's everyone up to this weekend?

YAY! I am excited for this weekend.
I am heading into school for a couple of hours this morning to get some work done. Then coming home and getting in a run this afternoon.
Tomorrow one of my best friends is coming up from Boston and we are heading to my home town and going to see our other best friend in Wild Party in Stowe. It should be fun...we'll go out to dinner first and then the show and then are staying overnight at my parents' house.
Sunday we'll come back here and grocery shop, BBQ, etc...

We are getting all set up for tomorrow's yard sale. We still have a bunch of stuff to haul down there and get all displayed. We are going in a few minutes to pick up a van and some high school guys to load and unload the heavy stuff.
Later tonight, I'd like to meet up with some friends and then get an early night. Saturday after the sale, we are planning to see Cowboys & Aliens. I'd like to go to my tattoo guy either today or tomorrow for a little something.

I'm going to the gym right away then from there heading to work. I really hope that today is a good day.
Tomorrow morning I am leaving for my cousins wedding, by leaving I mean going on a ferry and being picked up by my dad. Her wedding is tomorrow evening. Sunday morning I am bringing my brother back with me on the early ferry and hopefully we will be home in time to see B's presentation to the church. I get monday and most of Tuesday off, which I will be spending with my brother, probably taking him around and showing him our new home. This is the first time any of my family has made it to the island.
Last night I had a dream that I was having dinner with my brother and then raynes showed up. So it was fun to see her again, even if it was only a dream.
We have the farmer's market tomorrow, so tonight will be an early night for me. Dinner is already cooking in the crock pot so I won't have too much to do after work. After the farmer's market I don't think that we have any plans for the rest of the weekend. I'm guessing that I'll be doing the usual housework and laundry and trying to get in a couple good workouts. Have a great weekend, ladies!
TGIF! I am so glad it is Friday but wish I had a long weekend too.
Last night was productive. DH mowed and I cooked dinner then got some things done around the house.
This weekend is a busy one. We have a lot of places to be and a ton to try to get done around the house so it should be interesting.

Booo...this Canuck doesn't get a long weekend. I'm stuck working the entire thing. Started today I have a 7 day stretch. It wouldn't be so bad but I'm not the greatest morning person so 3x 7-3 shifts will be pretty brutal. And I'm on call 3 of the next 4 days. Enough about that!
So, I do have a raging eye infection. I can't wear contacts until at least next Wednesday when I have my follow up and I had to put drops in every hour yesterday. At least today I get to decrease the anti-inflammatory eye drops to 4 times a day and use moisturizing eye drops in between (maybe 6 times a eye).
Running on the treadmill this morning in contacts was pretty annoying. I get so sweaty and then can't really wipe my face. I also feel really tired when I wear my contacts because my prescription is so strong so I forsee the next week being really tiring between work and glasses.

Happy Friday. I really think the week back from vacation is the worst. It feels like you have to work twice as much to catch up from the week off.
Anyhow we are meeting with Christian's surgeon in a couple of hours, so I am anxious to hear exactly what he is going to do. Tonight will be low key since DH worked lastnight and is getting up from sleeping for 2 hours to meet me at the appt.
Tomorrow we are going to a friends house since they are having a nice fire in their backyard. It will be fun to have some grown up time.
Sunday, the typical laundry and cleaning.

Good morning and happy Friday! Today will be a busy one--quite a few things to do at work, but it'll make the day go by faster! We're headed to a Nats game tonight with some friends, so that should be fun. Oh, and today my first review for a newly established, D.C.-based online book review forum was published. So that's cool.
Tomorrow we're continuing with our kitchen project of putting new compact paper in the cabinets and drawer. Yay. We got about half of it done last week. Not really looking forward to it. Then we'll do the usual chores and errands.
Sunday will hopefully be low key, but we'll see.

Good morning everyone. I'm so happy it's Friday, although today and this weekend are going to be kind of rough. I'm working from home this morning, and then B and I are taking Casey to the vet specialist at 10:30. B is a huge wreck. He slept on the couch so that he could be near Casey. It just breaks my heart. As much as I know B loves me, there really isn't anything like the bond between a boy and his dog. Casey has been there with B through a really rough part of his life, so I know that if we get bad news, it's going to be really hard.
This weekend is also the weekend of the engagement party for B's step-brother, followed by a party for our niece's second birthday. It's going to be major family overload with B's family.
On a happy note, we have Paul McCartney tix for Sunday night, and I seriously can't wait!
Reba, good luck with the garage sale. Take some pix--I'd love to see the garage sale of the century.

No long weekend here, although I wish we did. I am so tired and looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. The jetlag has got up to me from my weekend trip to Seattle and I struggled to get out of bed this morning.
I'm actually a little bit tipsy right now after having a few drinks at a leaving party for a coworker. So I'm guessing I'm not going to be too productive the rest of the day!

Sounds like everyone has some great plans this weekend
I'm exhausted from last night. I planned a picnic in the park for DH and I which was fun but then my BIL and GF also came to the park. They didn't know we were there so we drank some wine then moved to a restaurant for drinks. We stayed out late so I'm feeling it.
I have no real plans tonight which sounds great.
Happy Friday! Though my days all feel the same these days! This week went by too fast. My Mom is leaving today around dinner time. I can't believe almost a month passed already since she got here. And Noah is two weeks old already. Wow. I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to make it at first without my Mom. She's been amazing.
Tonight we are going to a friend's house for a get together. Tomorrow we are going to the market. It's not really a long weekend for us - Paul has to work Monday. But we will enjoy our first weekend as a new family of three (without my Mom).

I'm so happy it's Friday, this week has been exhausting and I could use some sleep. Today I'm working until noon then meeting up with some friends for lunch and margaritas at a Mexican restaurant that has a gorgeous patio. After that I'll head over to the hospital to see my dad.
Saturday I'm hoping to get a lot of stuff done around the house that I've neglected all week. Sunday we're going up to my parents house to remove some solar panels from their roof since my dad obviously can't and they need them gone before the roofers come to put on a new roof on Monday.

I don't really notice the days of the week yet. I am glad that I've been able to recover at home for a bit before Jackson gets here. I think it's probably made it much easier. Still not moving around at normal speed, but we're getting there.
Tonight will be a trip to the hospital to see Jackson and drop off milk. They said he can come home as soon as he can bottle feed at every meal. Right now he's still on the NG tube. It's really frustrating, but I'd rather not fight with him about eating once he gets home, so as long as the docs can help him, the better. Having to wake up to a breast pump instead of a baby is really weird, though.
This weekend will probably be some general relaxation and any visitors that stop by now that I'm out of the hospital. Should be some down time with DH, though. He's still running on overdrive to do things around the house.

Good morning ladies. I'm only going to work for another hour or so because I'm going to a friends wedding later. I was supposed to leave at 11 but I have a cold and I'm going to the pharmacy to pick up something so that it doesn't get any worse. I was really looking forward to it until I started to feel sick. Anyway, hopefully we can enjoy it since we got a sitter for Olivia and all.
Tomorrow we're going to a kid's birthday party but we don't have any plans for Sunday. Have a great weekend ladies!
