Dear Community,

In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I feel super dumb even asking this...but what, exactly, does it mean to 'flame' someone? Or what are the "rules" for a 'flame-free' string of posts?
Does it just include disagreements/arguments/rants/calling people out? Or is there something specific that makes it a "flame"?
I know -- I'm clueless. Thanks for bringing me up to speed!
Re: flame question
Getting flamed or flaming someone means basically calling a person out or ripping them a new one on something they've said, done, etc. It's a bit petty since this is an online forum yet some people still do it. An example of a "flame-free confession" would be someone who's 7 months pregnant admitting they're still chain smoking, and no one is "allowed" to pass judgement, criticize, etc...
