Wish I was going to convention with you!
So tell me about these bags you're making, please. I need to live vicariously through you
Re: Ash
I know! I hope next year it's a little closer to you so you can come! I will miss you!
So, the bags..... let me explain how it all started first. Debi called me and asked me to do a show because she was invited to it but was going on vacation and she wanted me to help train this other girl. So, I did. She lives about 1.5 hours from me too. So, I trek down to her house (which she has the most amazing scentsy office I've ever seen!) to get some stock from her for the show. I ended spending the entire day with her learning (awesome) and basically found out all the secrets for convention (the stuff she gives us).
Amongst the things she bought for us were zebra bags which are really cute and they have wheels on the bottom so we can use at convention to tote around our stuff. She was talking about how she wanted to get them monogrammed with "Scentsy" or something on it.
Just so happens I have an embroidery machine now. So, long story short, I can't actually embroider on the bag itself because of the wheels it won't fit in my machine. So, I decided to make a patch of sorts to put on it. Here's what it looks like....
I'm adding little rhinestones to the stars for some bling (subtle but pretty). So, there's the story. I won't get any surprises from Debi but it's really fun to be a part of this one:) My SIL knows because we've been consulting on how to go about doing this but it's been hard to keep it a secret from everyone else. Glad I got to tell you, lol!
