Help me pick paint colors...
Hi girls!! Dropping in for your expert advice. ;o)
I bought this Ikea duvet cover for the guest room in purple: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/00110555
The furniture will be black.
What color should I paint the walls? Should I do white trim?
My initial thought was grey, but 60% of my house is already grey...it's getting old.
Re: Help me pick paint colors...
Pretty! My first thought was gray, lol. You could do a lavender or an egg shell... or what about a tan/taupe color? I'm sure Kristen will weigh in - she's a pro!

I like the idea of lavendar.
But this comes from someone who has egg shell on every.single.wall in her home. So I like that also. (Good ideas, Pam!)
Pretty! A good rule of thumb is to either do a color within the same hue but a different saturation, opposite on the color wheel, or next to on the color wheel.
So, grey, cream, yellows, greens, lavenders would work. If you do a green, yellow, or lavender, I would use a very soft one.
Since the furniture and duvet are already pretty dark, maybe do an accent wall behind the bed and the rest of the walls in a neutral? I like white trim with it too.
