Sad - I loved Chobani yogurt, it was so yummy and tasty. But lately nearly every yogurt cup has mold when I open it and I end up throwing it out. And then I am hungry.
I have four more Chobani containers in my fridge and I'm throwing them out when I go home. The whole thing grosses me out.
And then I googled Chobani and mold... it seems to be a huge problem at Chobani, people are posting on Chobani's FB page about mold, people are posting on various websites about mold in their yogurt.
sad.
Re: Chobani Greek Yogurt
I wanted to like chobani, but it just tastes like chemicals to me.
Can you bring the yogurt back to the store for a refund? Or will Chobani give you one since it's a known problem?
this.
i've taken bad food back to safeway and qfc...both with no problems, no questions asked.

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
I could probably bring the unopened ones back to the store, and I probably will, but now I am hungry and cranky, and mad that I have thrown out probably five yogurts in the past few weeks.
That is super frustrating!
I've been eating Yoplait's gree yogurt and I think it is pretty good - def no mold issues. They have a key lime flavor that is super good.

This is why we buy Greek God yogurt in the big container. I like the full-fat kind (baby needs it) with some honey. It's not as protein-packed like Chobani is, but it does the trick. And it's so yummy!
I'm thankful I never had any mold issues when I did buy Chobani, though. That would be awful to spend money on something (and they're pretty darn expensive!) and have to throw it out. Do you take it back to the store to get a refund? Most stores will do that.

Hey Snowflake, that is sad!
We are sincerely sorry that you've had an experience that was anything less than our "nothing but good" standards. We'd really like to make it up to you and regain your confidence in our products. Please contact us at care[at]chobani.com with any questions, and we'd be happy to replace those cups for you!
Okay, I am still not feeling confident in the quality of the yogurt sitting on my grocers shelves, and am currently buying a different brand, but as far as customer service goes - you folks at Chobani have impressed me.
