Has Anyone Used Wen Hair Cleansing Conditioner?

I saw this infomercial about it tonight and was curious. It sounds great but I'm always skeptical.

  • SO FUNNY! I saw it so many time last weekend in Vegas, and REALLY want to try it!!

LOL, it came on after Project Runway. I'd never heard of it before. It would be great to only have to use one product. And I like that it's supposed to be natural, too.
  • It does make sense. I have really thick hair, and used to wash it daily (and spend 15 minutes blow-drying and 30 minutes styling, etc.) Then I read a blog that talked about the benefits of your hair's natural oils, and started moving to every other day.

It made such a difference in my hair and my routine that I typically go 2-3 days between washings. It's not dirty at all, but makes my hair softer and more healthy looking.

So this Wen thing could be the next step away from shampoos/conditioners/leave-ins/etc!

  • Ive been wondering too!! You should try it then update me =)

Yeah, I don't wash mine even every other day anymore either. But I do have a scalp condition so I really should wash it more than I do (with this other special scalp shampoo). But my hair is SOO dry and gets really frizzy which tames down a lot after a few days of not washing it. I am tempted to try it. Maybe I will when we get back from the cruise.
  • Ha ha. I caved and bought it! I really do like it, but not necessarily more than other stuff I have used. I have crazy hair--don't know if you can tell from FB photos...

The downsides... their almond smell to me smells cheap. And I didn't like the 'cherry-ish' smell it has. The comb is a piece of crap. (Not a big deal as it is a free sample).

BE VERY CAREFUL. They say as a free gift to you they are signing you up for regular service (or something like that) and they will continue to charge your credit card and ship out the product every 3 months. That is why I actually cancelled them, I thought that was some serious BS. OH and they wouldn't take it back unless I paid for insured shipping, which I also thought was BS. SO long story short, I have an unopened box in my closet. If anyone wants to try it... let me know. Pay for shipping and I will probably part with it ;-)
