Whats everyone up to this weekend?
I have a friend coming over tonight to spend the night. DH is work so we're having a girls night.
Tomorrow morning I'm doing a race, the doggie challange, with my friend and its a dog friendly event so Ru gets to run with us. After the race there's a BBQ and live music in the park. After I race I have homework and home stuff I need to do
Sunday- The farmers market, homework and family dinner at my parents.

Tomorrow is D-day for me. My best friends shower/bachelorette is tomorrow. I decided NOT to say anything to the bride or the MOH about the stripper (BLAH!). I'm just gonna suck it up, toss back some drinks beforehand, and hope for the best! :-)
I spent today getting ready for the shower....baked cupcakes, bought appetizers, got a haircut, yadda yadda yadda. Then Sunday will, of course, be the recovery day.
Well, today was a very uneventful day, which I needed. I got a super cute cover-up from Victoria Secret for our honeymoon (we leave on Monday morning!), got a few candles from White Barn Candle Co. on sale, and did some grocery shopping to tide us over until vacation. Tonight, some of my best friends from high school are coming over for a wine, appetizer, and craft night! I am so blessed to still have this incredibly close circle of girl friends for going on 9 or more years now! I'm very excited and taking a break from cleaning the house to do a bit of nesting.
Tomorrow, I'll just be getting stuff ready for vacation--packing, typing up the arrangements for the puppy, etc. Same thing on Sunday.
Today was shopping and lunch with Mom. She treated me today and bought DH and me a new mattress pad (our old one was ancient and melted in the dryer last night) and 2 china bowls that were left on our registry. All this was an anniversary gift. Very nice of my parents!
Tomorrow is up early to the farmer's market then to AT&T to see what we can to about switching back to their network. Blurgh.
Sunday is fun day. Church and dinner and a movie that night.

DH and I are hanging out at home tonight, because I'm spending tomorrow with a friend. She and I are taking a mini-road trip to see this: http://www.darwintwineball.com/
It's only about a 1 1/2 hour drive one way, so we're going there and then meandering back, maybe stopping in whatever small towns we feel like. Then tomorrow night we're going to the drive-in.
No plans for Sunday. I'll probably spend all day watching Doctor Who on Netflix while Darren plays video games on the TV.
