Anyone have any recommendations for some trashy sex/romance novels? i'd like to indulge myself in some soft core reading to get in the mood, but have no idea where to start! is danielle steel that type of author? Thanks!

Check out the "Bridal Quartet" by Nora Roberts. It's a series of 4 books about 4 friends who own a wedding planning business. They're romance novels, but not too trashy. Easy reads.
Yes!!! The Black Dagger Brotherhood books are super hott!! They are by JR Ward. I love these books, there are 9 in all so far.
Also, I like to read Harlequin BLAZE books and Harlequin Spice books. I used to buy a bunch on Ebay as there are hundreds of them, and they are definetly cheaper than in a bookstore. Now, I subscribe to Harlequin Blaze and get 6 steamy erotic books for my nook every month.

Anne Rice has a set of erotica that is sure to please. Although, I have yet to read one of the novels the ladies at the adult store love it!
Also, Alicia Tyler has a collective book of erotic short stories that apparently are banned in Texas. Some are nice and some are not. Erotic Stories A-Z. There are like 4 volumes and I only read volume one.
I agree. They were fun, quick, easy reads. They have romance scenes in them, but they are tasteful and not trashy.
