Re: HHC Week 6 Check-In

  • 1. How was your water intake? Great! I typically don't drink much other than water anyway, but keeping track of it this week made me drink more than I usually do.

    2. What was the hardest thing to avoid? The beer in our fridge. We have an abundance and it was calling to me during study sessions lol.

    3. Bonus PIP your halfway pic. IHO being 20 pounds down since mid December, I thought I would show a mini progression. I didn't have any full body pics from December, so I used one from last summer and then the two from the WLC. That's some great motivation!

  • 1. How was your water intake? Well enough. I've decided I'm not one of those people who can down 8+ glasses a day. After about 4, I have to pee every 10 minutes and I start getting headaches.

    2. What was the hardest thing to avoid? Ditto Bekkah w/ alcohol. I actually took it out of the fridge so I wouldn't be so tempted.

    3. Bonus PIP your halfway pic. I'll try to take one later.

  • 1. How was your water intake? I thought it was good, but when I went for a facial she said my skin is dehydrated and when we were at the beach I definitely felt dehydrated. I feel like I drink a lot -- more than 8 cups -- but with breastfeeding and exercise I need a lot more.

    2. What was the hardest thing to avoid? Diet Coke! DH drinks it nonstop and passed on the habit..but I was good and only had water or water with lemon.

    3. Bonus PIP your halfway pic. I'll have DH take one later.

This week's challenge was to Keep track of your water intake. Replace soda (or other empty calorie beverage) with water.

    1. How was your water intake?  I only had soda once and the rest of the time I drank water (or water in addition to an adult beverage lol).  I could have had more water though, I think I only averaged about 2-3 big glasses a day

    2. What was the hardest thing to avoid?  diet pepsi

    3. Bonus PIP your halfway pic.  I should have had DH take one today b/c I'm actually feeling a little skinny, but I'll try to get one tonight for this (if I remember-someone can text me to remind me lol)

Next week's challenge is to Get at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise 4 times this week.

  • 1. How was your water intake? Not too bad. I drank more soda in Boston and yesterday (so this week) than I had been, but it's still waaaay better than it used to be. I used to be able to put down a 2 liter of Diet Soda a DAY.... which even though it's zero calories was really not good for me. Now, I'm definitely getting 5-8 bottles of water a day which is like 10-16 "glasses"... so I'm proud of that... I definitely drink more water when I workout too.

    2. What was the hardest thing to avoid? Easy... Diet Pepsi... hands down....
Oh and aside from the water thing... the sweets in Boston... Boston Cream Pie and canolis and Italian food... oh my goodness, I love Boston food, lol.

  • 1. How was your water intake?  In the house I only drink water or milk, so I was pretty good here!

    2. What was the hardest thing to avoid?  For me it is carbs.  I love pasta!

    3. Bonus PIP your halfway pic.  I will try to post one later.

AW: Today I am officially 50lbs lighter than I was at 9 months pregnant and 15lbs lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight!

  • 1. How was your water intake? pretty good (only had one day I didn't get enough - and it's mostly b/c I forgot and I didn't do very much that day).  I usually only drink water or milk since I don't like pop.

    2. What was the hardest thing to avoid? I had a hot chocolate and a mocha frappe, but everything else was water or milk, so it wasn't really very hard.  For some reason I don't think I even had an alcoholic beverage.

    3. Bonus PIP your halfway pic.
