life planners?

Anyone know what's so special about these $50 planners by Erin Condren?  They're purdy, I'll give you that.

Re: life planners?

  • Yes, I have one and I love it!  They are pretty, cheeful, and pretty all-inclusive.

They are only $45 on this link http://tinyurl.com/3g3v2sz at Tiny Prints and you can usually find a code for free shipping.  I paid $8.75 for shipping at ErinCondren.com. = (

I fell in love after seeing this post, which gives more detail than the websites selling them.  http://www.akronohiomoms.com/life-family/im-obsessed-with-my-personlized-erin-condren-life-planner/

  • I should never have opened this post.  Now I really want one.

    Me too.  :/

Do they go January - December only?  If so, it'll be on my wish list for Christmas.  I'd never be able to justify the money for only half a year. LOL (To DH, I have no issues. LOL)

  • I don't have one, but one of my clients ordered one a while back, and it was SO cute.  She actually gave me a card with a discount code on it that's good forever, so if anyone ends up ordering one, let me know and I'll go find it to email to you.

I want one too, but I stopped using paper planners about a year ago.  I LOVE them, but once I started using Google calendars and got a G-phone that syncs automatically with the calendar, I stopped needing a paper planner.

HOWEVER, I'm starting to kind of want one again because I fear that if something happened to Google or my computer/phone, I wouldn't have access to my calendar...and that would be bad.

The main website says they go through Dec. 2012.

My birthday is in a month and a half.... teehee.  I think Micaela would benefit a lot from one of these too, she got really good at using one last year.  I think a "fancy" one would rock her socks. hehe

  • And you can put your family (or whatever) photo on it!!  I bet the kids would think that's pretty cool.  I didn't get one with a photo, but I think it's neat for people with non-infants.
  • I think this may be a go to gift for my mom!  I'd love one too, but I think this is something that my mom would really love and use.

  • Alright, alright.  It seems to be universally loved, but I just bought a cheap-o planner for the new school year.

I typically start the year off strong, using my planner, but by mid-October, I can't remember where I left it.

This year, however, I started using it to record all sorts of important information that I got tired of looking up again and again.  Flight numbers, salon phone numbers, and the like.  It looks like it could be the year of the planner.  And I guess if it's really still in use in December, I could ask for one for Christmas.

This is totally me. This planner sounds way too cool though. So tempting!

  • What does it do that an iPhone can't?  I mean, I don't have an iPhone, but I have an iPod Touch I'd be dead in the water without.  I put all my appts in it, phone numbers and addresses, everything's in there.

Absolutely nothing, but it's just so PRETTY :)

There is something nice about writing on paper though.

I'm the same way with my iphone, but I do still keep a paper calendar.  My mother on the other hand, she is anti-tech and sticks to paper calendars.  I'm always looking for gift ideas for her, and I think this would be a good one that she would actually use.

Nothing.  I just prefer to have a paper binder.  Plus when I have meeting and stuff, I can stick the papers/handouts into the little folder.

  • Hi all!  I'm new to the The Nest.  I've never heard of these planners but they are way cool.  I was telling my sister about them and she said she thought she had seen a recent deal on them lately.  Sure enough, Plum District has a $25 for $50 worth of merchandise from Erin Condren.  Here's the link.  I just bought the deal.

YAY!!!!  Oh, thank you for posting the code...I was thisclose to buying a planner today and stopped myself, and now I'm so glad I did because, $20 for $50 worth of merchandise?  Yes please!!

  • Just an FYI if anyone else is going to order one...I was able to get the Plum District deal (and used the code on the link above to get another $5 off, making my $25 voucher only $20 for $50 worth of merch on Erin Condren's website)...THEN, I was also able to stack the discount code 2010OFF (anyone can use it one time) on top of that!  So I only had to pay $0.66 on her website to cover shipping, making my total paid for one of the planners only $20.66.

*falls over*  I'm so excited!  I'm a diehard Google calendar user, but started recently thinking that if the Google server ever crashed or if I didn't have access to my phone or computer calendar (one or the other; losing either would suck), I would be SOL b/c I have no written records.  It didn't take much convincing after seeing this deal for me to buy the planner, LOL.

You convinced me.  I saw the original plum district deal, but the extra $5 off too just pushed me over the edge.  They're too cute, and I really love new school supplies.  Happy back to school to me!

  • This is just becoming too good to be true!  I don't think I can resist. They really are so pretty!

Me too! I saw this last night and there was a day left so I waited. When I browsed through her site this morning I was convinced I needed this. I was going to get another one as a gift too. But there's no way I'm paying $50 for a planner. Bummer :(

  • Pretty much every blog I read posted about the deal, so they probably had a great response.  Just wait for a 20% off code from Tinyprints and it'll be just a little over $30.
