I have a friend who is done having children and has around 20
bumgenius 3.0s she said I could just have. I used the same diapers with
Cassidy and will with our second. Since they're free, I don't want
to turn them down, but she said she stopped using them around a year
because of leak issues. She remembers the fact that her parents had
used Desitin and blames the leaking on that. She said she tried a few
things to strip them, but I think gave up pretty easily.
How do
you think I should approach them? What methods do you will work best?
Would you "mark" them first so you know which are which?
Re: CD moms
I have definitely heard that the zinc oxide can cause leaks. How did she try to strip them? I would take them and try to strip them myself before writing them off, because that's a lot of diapers! I use a few BGs 3.0 and haven't had trouble (although we haven't been in them for that long, since she had to grow into the smalls). I haven't had to strip them yet. I did strip some fitteds I borrowed, and I used a few drops of Dawn and just rinsed a million times in hot water until no more bubbles. Marking them is a really good idea, too. Good luck!
It took 5 failed IUIs and a failed IVF, but our FET worked!
