When I get bored, I start "planning" things. We're home today. DH is outside, the baby is sleeping and I'm getting some computer time.
We plan on starting Georgia in ballet when she's 2, gymnastics at 3 and cheerleading at ??? (if she wants to do it). She doesn't have to keep up with all these activities if she doesn't like them, but we would like her to choose one "talent" and stick with it. We will do art classes at a more appropriate age too, since DH is pretty talented...maybe she will get that from him.
Anyway, I was thinking about the Ben Stevenson Houston Ballet for lessons. What others could I look into?
What about gymnastics and cheerleading? I don't mind driving to Katy for these, I've heard they have really great classes out there. ![]()
I know it's super early, but like I said, I'm bored and wanting to do something besides read coupon blogs today.
I'm banned from shopping online until August 1 since our new "budget month" will start then!
Re: I'm bored...researching things for when LO is older
We have been very pleased with Houston Gymnastics Academy, they start from 12 months on. I know they also do cheerleading, but I think it is with much older kids.
For ballet, we really liked Kings, but are switching to Houston Met because of location issues with Kings. Houston Met will not take 2 year olds, Kings will. Ben Stevenson won't take kids until they are 4 years old.
So Tasty, So Yummy
Yes!
So Tasty, So Yummy
Good! I didn't take gymnastics when I was little, but I always wanted to. Since I broke my arm when I was two my parents were scared to let me do anything that might break it again.
