I am making the birthday outfits for the girls. We are having a butterfly theme. The outfit will be a skirt, a matching shirt, matching birthday hat, matching hair bow. Cora will be 2, Elsie will be 1.
The first pic is basically what I am doing, but doing something like the second pic for the shirt. The shirt may be white, or pink - not sure

So, I found the cutest butterfly fabric. It actually came as a pre-cut set with another fabric. So, my question is - do I use the butterfly fabric with the yellow polka dots (came together, the yellow is the same as some of the wings) OR should I use another polka dot fabric.
Here are the pics

If I use the yellow - should I make one with just polka dots? like this?

SHould I scrap the polka dots and go with a "solid" color, different for each girl?
Omg - too many choices
