Disney world (sit/stand or single)

I am going to take my ergo baby carrier but trying to decide if I want to do the sit/stand or a single?  Liz is 4 and Lexi will be 7 months.  Thoughts?

Edit: its the joovy caboose so there is a seat for Liz to sit on.

Re: Disney world (sit/stand or single)

  • I have been there many times I would say the sit and stand would work the best then you do have somewhere to put the baby and the 4 year old at the same time if you or she is tired of the carrier. Or if you are doing baby swap on a ride and someone else has to watch them both while you ride a ride.
  •  I would do the sit and stand or bring a small stroller and rent a stroller from the parks.  Two strollers might work out better if you are going with a group and may split up.  You can rent a stroller in one park and get a stroller in another park by showing a receipt.

Your baby may get hot and get tired of being in the ergo and would probably sleep better if you had a stroller.   Are you staying at a Disney resort?   I think they will send souvenirs to your room, otherwise you will carrying those as well.  We have been three times in the last few years and I would suggest doing most of your shopping  at downtown disney.  It is still crazy there, but you don't need a park pass to get in and if you could sneak there without the kids that would be even better.

I bought a bunch of tummy ticklers before we went (they are in the juice box aisle at wal-mart.  They are like water bottles, but spill proof and $2 a piece so no big deal if one gets lost.
