do you use this through out the day? or just during the time that they have their crying episode?
Re: gripe water?
I used gripe water only for when the baby had hiccups. It sounds to me like after reading your posts that your DD is just having their "cranky time" every night. If your child had colic, it would be 3 hrs of crying consecutively, for 3 or more days straight. Both of my children had this "cranky time" in the evening, and we learned that it was just that the baby was ready for bed, but couldn't get to sleep on his own. We started to notice a pattern and it was around the same time every night, so slightly before the "cranky time" usually began we would feed him, then rock him to sleep. Newborns typically have this cranky period when they are overtired. I found that if you dont let them get to that point, it works. All that being said, if you really feel like your DD is having stomach issues/colic, I would maybe contact your pediatrician for advice on it, or to make sure that its not something else, such as acid reflux causing a problem. Good luck.
