so daycare WILL do cloth diapers.
DS is almost four months old. He weighs almost 14 lbs. I want something that will grow with him.
What do you suggest?
How many diapers would you start with?
Anyone have a diaper I could borrow for a week to be sure this is something we want to do?

I would totally suggest Tots Bots! I love those and the BG Elementals but DH doesn't like the BGE's because of the snaps. He even told me to buy more Tots Bots! They are an All In Two. You stuff them like a pocket but it's more like a tongue because the insert is connected to the diaper so you never have to search the laundry to match up the inserts with the diapers. They are One Size so will fit your baby through the entire diapering stage! Tots bots are always my go to diaper when i have to leave J with anyone that may be unsure about CDing.
Go to TTBBB and do a trial package. It would be well worth your time to do it. That way you can try out a bunch of different types and get a fell for what's out there. Plus they will be able to answer all of your questions

I would say if you want to do laundry every 2-3 days you need about 18-24 diapers.

The trial would give you every "kind" of diaper to try and see what you like.
Tot Bots are awesome and quickly becoming my favorite diaper as well.
