Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Who knows how to build a website or knows someone who does?
I'm looking for someone who can maybe help me. I could pay a service to do it but I want to learn to do it on my own or pay cheap for someone else to do it, lol

I would consider $250 cheap. I asked a friend of mine that does search engine optimization stuff what it would cost because she's around it and knows - she said $500 for a good one or I could go to jigsy and have it done but then you are confined to their templates.
I just want a cool website with more functionality. I want to add a blog, make it more searchable, customizable etc.

We used http://drupal.org/ at the Bible translation nonprofit org I worked for. It's free and pretty simple to learn (to me anyway). They had a lot of customizations and options back when we were using it, and that was 3 years ago. I'm sure they have more now. Here's the website: http://www.theseedcompany.org/.
E does this too, but he charges anywhere from $500 for a simple single page to $10K for the more ornate stuff. Or something like that. It's pricey.
