question about washers & dryers
is it better to have a top loading or front loading washer? i thought i remember being told that the top loading are better?!
amazon is having what appears to be a really good deal. what do you guys think?

I LOVE my front loaders. I'd never go back. With that said there is much more maintenance with front loaders than I ever had with top loaders, none of it takes more than 10 minutes a month but its still another thing on my calendar.
I do feel like my clothes are cleaner to.
We got our LG front loader steam washer/dryer for a little less than what that ad is showing. I really have liked it quite a bit. Front loaders generally use less water/energy (hE) but some people like the top loaders better.
The ReStore has both top and front loaders brand new pretty inexpensively as well. I don't know if you're interested in checking there or not but thought I'd throw it out there.
What does the maintenance for yours include, Spitzchic?
I'm guessing there are things we should be doing but aren't... Whoops.
