best place to find a house for rent

DH and I are searching for a house to rent to get out of our marijuana filled apartment building. I've been looking on Craigslist but I haven't really seen anything worth going to look at. Are there better websites/places to look?

    We looked around simply by driving in the areas we wanted to live in and trying to write numbers down on signs. Some of those apartment books at Kroger can leave to leads. Or googling "Cincinnati apartments" and clicking on a few websites. I found my old apartment (paxtonavenueproperties.com - my old apartment is actually for rent right now ^_^) by driving by the sign on my way to the grocery store a few times.

    We list our rental on CL and in the local community paper (for us it's the Recorder).

    we used to rent from Beau too! OP we've always had luck with Craigslist, you just have to check frequently.
