I am stealing raynes post because I am guessing she is maybe still out of town for her long weekend...
My weekend was draining, but good. I went to my parents' house for the night and one of my friends, my mom, and I went to see my BFF in Wild Party. It was fun--she was incredible, but the other lead was uncomfortable for me to watch (had weird facial BLOCKED EXPRESSION but overall it was good.
I also went for a crazy hilly run yesterday so I can barely walk today...but I managed to run 101 miles this month which I am psyched about! Today I am just sitting
.
My only plans for the day are to get some classwork done, do a little lesson planning for the fall, and maybe go to the grocery store.
How was everyone else's weekends?
Re: Good Morning! (and happy 2nd anniversary Aug. 1 ladies!)
Good Morning!
I can't believe I have been married for 2 years. This weekend was good. Saturday I went shopping (no sales tax weekend) and got Jordan some pants for school. Sunday was a very laid back day. Sunday night Jordan was in a play at our church. It was amazing all of the kids did so good. There were 89 kids in all. Jordan was a solider in the play and he did wonderful.
Today is busy at work since its the 1st of the month, but DH is off tonight. He worked last night and has to work tomorrow, but I am glad he will be home tonight. We have no plans and will probably just eat a sandwich, but o well.
Good morning, ladies
I took some PTO last week, and the 5 day weekend was so nice. Not looking forward to a 5 day workweek, though.
Have a great day, everyone!
Good Morning ladies.
My weekend was a busy one.
Saturday, I ran some errands then dropped the boys off at MIL for the night. DH and I then went out to dinner to celebrate our anniversary with friends. I had a very Yummy Lobster Role. Then we headed to a friends house for drinks and a fire. The weather was great. It was awesome to sit outside at night with just shorts and a t-shirt.
Sunday we picked the boys up then headed to a friends house to help put a new liner in their pool. Needless to say I had 2 cranky kids on my hands by the time we left as they were off schedule for naps. So lastnight was a long night trying to get laundry done and deal with them.
Today is back to the grind. Another busy week at work. I love summer, but hate the PTO work thing. Busier when so many are out on vacation.
Have a great day ladies!

Good Morning!
I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday I got fitted for running shoes. I had just been running in my regular shoes but since it's becoming more of a regular thing I thought I should make sure I've got the right stuff. I also bought some bright work out shirts to wear. I've been jealous of the brightly colored clothing I see and wanted to wear fun stuff too.
Dh some friends and I went to a soccer bar to watch the FCB vs Man U game. It was fun even though FCB lost. DH did get to wear his FCB jersey that my BIL brought back for him. (I paid for it and it was supposed to be an anniversary gift but BIL didn't remember.)
Sunday We just relaxed and I made a lamb and fresh cherry tagine.
Good Morning!
We had a very productive weekend and our finally making some nursery progress. I am feeling a lot better about things now that we are getting things done.
This week we are going to keep on working around the house. I am off Friday, we have our maternity photos in the morning and then my sister flies in Friday evening. My mom and younger sisters are also coming and they will arrive early Saturday morning so I am pretty excited! My baby shower is this weekend.
Have a great week ladies!
Good morning!
I am back at work this morning after enjoying a weekend with my sister. The tag sale went great and we got rid of almost everything.
My BFF and her DH were in town this weekend (naturally, since I was at home) but we got to have breakfast this morning before they left. I have a ton of stuff to do today, including sorting through 217 emails, but I am taking tomorrow off to go to Kings Dominion with my niece and nephews - I think there are 11 of us going. It should be a fun, but exhausting day.

Good morning! We had a good weekend. Saturday was the farmer's market. The weather was much better than last weekend. It did start to warm up by noon but overall the weather was much more tolerable. Saturday night I went out for a few drinks with a friend.
Yesterday I cleaned house and did laundry until Kyle got home from work. Then we went into town and met up with some friends and had a cookout. They grilled out steaks. We also had a few drinks which I may be regretting today.
Tonight we don't have much going on so I'm hoping to relax and get to bed early to make up for last night. Have a great day and happy anniversary to all of the August 1 ladies!
Hello all. The weather finally turned decent this weekend, so it was good to get outside for a bit. Caught up with a friend at a picnic in the park on Saturday, and then dinner out with some other friends. Sunday was a productive day around the apartment, and I finally got around to doing the amendment on our tax return.
I have my final driving lesson tonight and then the test tomorrow. I really don't want to fail (again), and it's stressing me out. I can't wait until it's over with.
And happy anniversary to all the Aug 1 ladies!

Good morning!
We had a great weekend. Saturday morning our photographer came over to do some newborn and family pics. She posted a teaser in her blog and promised to have the rest posted today or tomorrow.

And on Saturday night we made our first outing as a family for dinner! Darian was so good, he slept the whole time, and we were relieved to get through it. It's awesome to start getting back into somewhat normal routines and start doing stuff that makes me feel like me again.
V's home with me today for the holiday and I think we'll be running some errands.

Good morning all, and happy second anniversary to the August 1 ladies. My weekend actually turned out to be much better than anticipated. The news about Casey definitely set the tone for a better weekend. B and I both thought we were going to have to put him down, and we're very excited to know that he has something he can live with and be managed by medicine and diet.
Saturday was the crazy engagement party. StepBIL and his fiance's parents are both divorced and remarried, and it definitely interesting, especially when StepBIL's stepmom got all the mothers and step-mother's last names incorrect. There were also multiple stories about StepBIL and his FI knowing each other since birth, etc. I actually feel kind of bad for the couple though, no one in their families can agree on a date, and they've been engaged for 8 months now, want to plan, but have no date in site. B and I keep telling them they should elope, but who knows what they will do. Given the history, we probably won't know until after the fact.
Sunday was our neice's 3rd birthday, and it was good. Then B and I went to see Paul McCartney last night. He was fabulous! Definitely one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I'm definitely feeling the late night though today.
Happy anniversary, August 1 gals. I hope it's a fantastic day.
Good morning, everyone. Weekend was decent; we had a great time at the baseball game on Friday even though it was over 100 at game time. Yikes! We continued with our cabinet lining project and have one more area to go and then we're done! But we also realized we need to replace a bunch of kitchen stuff, which made me joke we should've gotten married this year. The rest of the weekend went well--spent some time outside, hit the gym, did other errands and did quite a bit of writing, which is always good.
Today's quiet at work, with an ice cream social in the afternoon. Then it's laundry night at home.
Have a great one, all.
Just dropping by to say happy anniversary August 1st girls!
I have such a hard time keeping up with you all because of the time difference, but in t minus 2 months I'l be back in the US and around much more often! I miss you ladies..
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Happy Anniversary Aug 1st girls!
My weekend was good. Saturday Jason and I went to a county fair to watch his little cousins show their 4-H projects. It was so fun watching them and brought back a ton of memories from my 4-H days.
Sunday we went and saw my dad at the hospital then we went up to my parents house to remove the solar panels from their roof before the roofers came today.
Nothing exciting on the agenda for today just work, work, work. Have a great day ladies!
Hey guys! I'm in Victoria airport right now waiting to get on our tiny little prop plane to get across to Vancouver and then we're off to Honolulu! WHEE!
The wedding this weekend was really beautiful, but a logistical and organizational nightmare. The shuttle to get from the reception site to the ceremony site didn't show up - neither did the father of the groom... And half of the guests were smoking up as soon as the ceremony was over.
There were a lot of unwashed hippies.
So... in spite of the fact that the hall and the ceremony site looked amazing and the photographers were great, and that I loved the fact that it wasn't super traditional, the frustrations involved (like the insane caterer demanding that I act as his server because he didn't bother to hire anyone PLUS the fact that dinner was 2 hours late being served) really put a damper on the whole event.
But, here's a picture of me with totally messy hair at the site:

I say "Boo!" to my weekend.
I had to work all weekend and was only call Friday, last night and now tonight. Work was awful. No lunch (or breaks) the past 3 days in a row and stayed overtime 15 minutes Saturday and 45 minutes day.
To top it all off, I got paged last night and actually had to go in to the hospital. The eye specialist needed me to make up some special eye injections. This isn't a regular part of my job description so it was pretty hard to do and it makes me nervous trying to make some sterile antibiotics that will be injected into someones eyeball. I didn't get home until 12:50am and had to work at 7am so I'm pretty tired today.
3 more days of work this week and then I get 3 days off. Can't wait.
