t & p for FIL (long)

2 weeks ago my FIL was in a small motorcycle accident.  His bike was fine, no one else was hurt, and he messed up his right ankle.  He has a walking boot and crutches but can't put any weight on the boot yet.
My ILs live in a split level house...
Monday night he was going downstairs on his crutches (even though MIL and SIL were home with him and could have gotten him what he wanted from downstairs...) and fell.  He ripped his left quad muscle off his knee (OUCH!)
He's having knee surgery today.
John is going over to their house today to move FIL's bed to the basement and to carry FIL in the house when he gets home from surgery.  If they come in through the back door in the basement, there are no steps.
So please pray for my ILs...pray that FIL listens to the dr and doesn't try to walk, since he still hasn't been released to put any weight on the walking boot...pray that MIL doesn't take out her frustrations on all of us (she gets very annoyed with FIL very easily)...
It's going to be a long few weeks...
