Any ladies interested in doing this? I need to start getting back into couponing and I figured this would be a good way to get some different coupons.
Heres the deal with coupon trains -
A Coupon Train consists of a conductor and 3-6 passengers. The conductor mails the train with anywhere from 50-100 coupons to the first passenger on the list. That person takes out which coupons are useful and replaces the exact amount of coupons that aren?t useful. For example: if you take out 4 coupons, you must replace 4 coupons. You then mail it to the next person on the passenger list. You can hold the train for no longer 3 days (ideally less time is better) before mailing. The last passenger on the train will mail it back to the conductor who will then refresh the coupons and mail it out for another round.
Usually there are a few rules (ie not putting in expired coupons, or not good coupons (ones that you know no one in the group will use), not taking all of the high value/high popularity coupons, taking out expired ones or ones that will expire soon when you send out the envelope, etc) So if we do this we should talk about the rules we want to set up.
Members can also create wish lists so that others know what coupons they like/need and to be sure that not everyone in the train is looking for the same coupons, because that really wouldn't work well. Maybe we could do a private facebook group or something to keep track of the wish lists.
What do you ladies think? I will be the conductor and kick us off if you want. If there is enough interest, we could do two trains.
