  • Bean is copying everything we say Currently, she is OBSESSED with b-u-b-b-l-e-s. Like, she goes around saying "Bub bub!" all.day.long. It's cute, but holy goose eggs I am forever covered in bubbles. She is still singing in tune with things, which still amazes me. I need to video it.

I'm also very tired. And she is a wachadoo kid. I don't know what I am going to do when she figures out I'm not cool anymore. :(

Beckett has figured this out already. Last week he told me I wasn't cool, but Daddy was. He's three and a half. I seriously thought he'd be a teenager before he started telling me this. At least I've got a while before Maisy comes to the same conclusion.

  • DD has learned to jump.  She jumps on everything and every chance she gets.  She is the most mischevious little girl I know.  She amazes me because she is able to recall tunes of songs hours or later and still hum them.  Love Love Love my little girl!
  • I have to be at the hospital in 16 hrs, 45 mins.  I'm trying not be nervous about a needle going in my back Huh?  I am trying to focus on the fact that it will be all done before I even realize it and I will be holding the prize in my arms.

    GL tomorrow, Kristina! :)

I don't know what I'll do if I have to have a scheduled RCS. I was so tired I didn't even care that it took 2 attempts to get that needle in (I didn't feel anything though, so it really wasn't bad). I was also too tired to care about the actual CS itself. If I am well rested next time, I know I will be terrified!

  • Zoe is doing great! She has rolled over from her tummy to back a couple times, and rolls from her back to tummy like a champ now. We gave her rice cereal twice in the past 2 weeks. She got the hang of it the last time so we may just slowly advance her. I'm in no hurry though. She has been eating every 2- 2.5 hours, but I think my supply has adjusted because she is satisfied after she eats now. I'm in no hurry to introduce solids completely before we go to CT in August. I can't believe she is almost 6 months old! :)

Still no sign of teeth from what I can tell! She also loves her jumperoo that I am borrowing from a coworker. And her napping still sucks, but I have been trying to wear her out more and she seems less cranky most of the time. We had a rough day last Wednesday, but that's it really. She fell asleep in her jumparoo that day!

Awwwh! Lol. I am NOT looking forward to that!
  • Holy itchy skin... I am so over the itchyness and can't wait to meet my little man. Contractions have been regular but inconsistent today. I went for a prenatal massage yesterday and it was heavenly. I plan to go again next Sunday for a 90 minute and will do that once a week until he makes his arrival. It made my hip and back discomfort so much better.
  • Good luck, Kristina!

We're doing well and I feel alright.  I've been getting a lot of headaches and Chicago has been in a month long heat wave which really sucks.

The really exciting news though is that we applied for a new place today!!  It's in the suburbs and sooo much nicer, plus it actually has room for the baby.  Hopefully we'll be moving in 2-3 weeks and I won't have to climb up 3 un-airconditioned flights of stairs every time I leave my home!
