That the longer we rent the longer and more extravegant my "must" have list gets for our first house. Maybe it's because it's been ubber hot, but I now have it in my head that we have to get a house with a pool. I need to win the lotto..........
Any realizations for anyone else lately?
Re: I have realized.....
OMG, TN ate my response. Actually, the work filter ate it, but whatevs, I'm blaming TN.
(1) I want a pool!
(2) Makeup and hair color. I
Sephora, and can't go back to drugstore products. I used to just get highlights every 3-6 months, and now I go much more frequently, nad am trying a new technique in 2 weeks called breaking (or bumping) the base, where they dye your roots, then do the highlights. I get annoyed sometimes with highlights, because you can come out of it looking like you have roots.
I've noticed this too!! Hate it!
When you go to buy, I think you will find that your must list goes out the window when you walk into a house and know it's the one. Or maybe that was just my experience. hahaha.
Me:
1. I will never go back to drugstore hair color or shampoo.
2. I can't eat and drink like I did when I was 18. This realization has come much too late!
I want a POOL!!!
Our one big must have for a house is a yard. Not even that much of a yard but something for the kids and puppy to play on. The area of Tampa we live most houses barely have anything you could call a yard, we thankfully actually live on a corner lot and have a decent amount of lawn/yard.
I'll let you know in 2 weeks if this works!
It is sooo nice to have a yard. We're on the end of a cul-de-sac, and our lot is .20, as opposed to most in the neighborhood being more like .10-.15 acre. We've got a nice big expanse of grass in the back, and a stamped concrete patio, and a slight hill with bushes and trees. Ginger absolutely loves being able to run around, and I'm sure the kiddos will as well. Lots of work, but worth it.
