RHONJ ~ 7/31 Spoilers
Christmas in July! I liked the episdoe and it was fun watching them celebrate Christmas. Looking at all the snow made me slightly wishful since we are stuck in this heatwave.
I love Kathy's children't gift to her, my eyes teared up when they read the letter to her. THey seem like great kids. Such a contrast to eye rolling Ashley who spent to much $$ on her car. Sometime I just want to shake her.
I still love those bracelets that Caroline had made for the family. Great idea and the design was beautful. Also the re-enacted engagement was so sweet.
I imagaine that Joe Guidice must be depressed with everthing going on and it was kinda hard watching him on Christmas morning. At least it didn't seem to bother the girls and Teresa too much. His comments about Melissa were also uncalled for- both at the party and Christmas morning.
The Teresa v. Kathy fued is getting a little old. Is this still about what KAthy said at the Fashion show? I wish they would just get over it already, but I guess you have to same some drama for late.
I joked with my friend that we should do something every time Melissa makes a comment about Baby Jesus Birthday.

I thought it was really sweet that Kathy's kids got her a laptop, but seriously what kind of an allowance do they get where they could afford that? (unless their dad helped out behind the scenes and they gave what they could) I also gave another eyeroll to her over the top spread on Christmas Eve. I thought it was looked amazing, but I feel like she's overdoing it because of the show and she wants attention for it.
I felt so sad for Gia, and couldn't believe they aired her getting sick. If that was my 9 year old daughter, I would have requested they not film that/air it. Poor kid, it really stinks to be so sick on Christmas especially as a kid. It seemed like Joe Guidice was sick as well, he seemed out of it and sounded stuffed up. Tis the season!
Love love love how Caroline didn't care that she was a hot mess on Christmas Eve at her house. She and her family are definitely my favorite!
Totally disgusted once again with Ashley.. how do you not get your parents anything at all for Christmas after everything they do for her?!
I also feel that the Gorgas were playing it up for the cameras as well. I'm sure they always have an extravagent Christmas, but a rolex, LV luggage, shoes that you know cost a couple thousand, and her recording studio?! What she got for Christmas probably costs almost as much as my house!

The Manzos are the only decent thing about this show. The Jeff Goldbloom family's kids are cute though and seem like they love and respect their parents!

Joe's attitude on Xmas sucked as usual. Each time i see him the more i cant stand him. I feel a little sorry for her always trying to be the glue. I dont know if she feels it and tries to overlook it, or just doesnt see it.

Teresa pissed me off this episode. First she says a comment about they are cutting back on gifts for the kids this year. Okay that is fine, and I agree they should.
Then when she gets her gift, the kids brought up the LV purse that she returned and her excuse was because it was tan and "Ugh a tan LV". Then her comment to Joe, "So no diamonds this year"?. Um, you were cutting back right.
Joe Guidice really is a lazy SOB. He looks like a drunk, and is absolutely miserable.

Ashley makes me sick, you can't even get your parents something small, PLEASE! She is a selfish brat. I am amazed that she is like that, Jacqueline and her husband seem to be great parents- if he has been around since she was small, how did they not parent her better, I don't get it.
LOVE the Manzo's! I love that Caroline didn't feel the need to get dressed up after cooking a bunch of food, but I also thought it was odd- it would have taken 20 minutes to shower and throw on a nice sweater and pants- if it were me I would have changed. LOVE their gifts for the kids, and I love that the kids really appreciated the meaning of them. Giving Carolina the ring was super sweet, they are a down to earth normal family.
Kathy just bugs me, her kids seem decent, but they are just kinda boring for me. That fish was creeping me out- it was HUGE!
I think Teresa is trying, but she just has a jacka** husband- you have 4 kids and you can't get your butt out of bed on Xmas morning, please, what a terrible father, and then holding the video camera and sleeping on the couch- what an AS*!!!
I can see how the Gorga's Xmas looked over the top- but I agree with her- if you can do it, why not have a big Xmas- we totally will spoil DD- DH and I LOVE Xmas- why not celebrate in a big way? Just do it for the right reason and not just to show off, I think they do it to show off. Although I would gladly accept her watch and luggage (both were amazing!) - I didnt' like the shoes!
It bugs me what their motivation is- yes Joe built her a studio and it took a lot of time and money, but why- so she can be home and not off somewhere recording music- I think it's how he keeps her under his thumb, and that bugs me- he should have done it because he wanted to do something nice for her, big difference.
Agreed with everything! I absolutely hate Ashley. They need to stop including her in the show because she will be the sole reason I stop watching. It pisses me off the she is so selfish and says Chris isn't her dad (even though he raised her and does everything for her). She should just leave go live with her *** dad already.
Thank you! I say this every episode. I'm so sick of her manipulative "I'm a brat because my parents are divorced" attitude. I find myself getting more & more angry with every episode. Even DH said she could have given them a free babysitting coupon or something like that which wouldn't cost anything but Chris & Jacqueline would have loved it. I really can't stand to watch her.
Kathy and her family wear on my nerves as well (We get it, we get it, you're opening a catering business!).
Yeah, i can see it. Ten years from now Ashley will still complain about having a horrible life because she is a child of divorce. All while living in her parents' basement, eating their food, driving their cars, and drinking their wine. Her parents are doing her no favors by buying her a car (again).
I agree with the poster who wrote about Kathy & Rich being boring. They seem nice, but I'm curious as to what Rich's business is as they do a lot of business with the Brownstone (Caroline mentioned this when talking about whether or not to invite them to their NYE party).
The Gorgas are over the top showy at times, but I don't find them to be obnoxious (yet). The Giudices are a hot mess and Joe needs to check into either rehab or a sleep clinic. FFS, it's Christmas dude! Put a frickin' shirt on, grab a strong cup of coffee and be present for your kids. Theresa just needs to dial-down the whole insecure-competitive-grudge thing she has going on. Her true colors are showing this season and they aren't pretty. A little humility would be nice.
Not sure that makes him a terrible father. With all of their money issues and dramas he could have been going through a depression or sad that he wasn't able to spoil the kids on Christmas the way they used too.
