Great British Beer Festival

Anyone in London doing this?  My DH and I usually go with another couple but they can't go this year.  Wah.  I know we'll probably still go, but thought it would be fun to go with others as well...anyone interested?
I like pineapples...they make life just so much more interesting.

Re: Great British Beer Festival

  • My hubs actually is a CAMRA member. God, we so need to move back to London. We'll be at a stupid pay-for-your-own-beer wedding.
  • We went to this in Edinburgh! DH is a huge fan.

  • When were you thinking of going?  I'm busy Saturday, but Friday might be possible if MH is interested.

  • I just talk to DH and he wants to go tomorrow night after work, so I think we're going to go then.

  • I wish I was there, we had so much fun last year!
  • We (ok, H) really wanted to go, but things are too crazy to get over to London.  Have fun!

And on the CAMRA part-- H has a nifty certificate (in his office, no less) he was the first American to complete their Silver Ale Trail (visit all the pubs that appeared in the first 25yrs of publication of their Good Beer Guide).   Special, eh?!  :)
