A recipe I am making this weekend calls for fresh okra and in the past I have used frozen but since it is in season I was thinking about getting it from the farmer's market. Has anyone cooked with fresh okra? Is the slim as difficult as it sounds? I am trying to decide if it is easier/better just to get the frozen okra already cut up.
Re: Cooking with Fresh Okra
I don't think the slim is THAT big of a deal.
but i also think frozen okra is pretty good!
