Actually they emailed me days ago and I didn't see it. They addressed the list point by point and the email was really thorough and professional. The highlights:
- They said private boards are always suggested. They're considering adding them, but for now they want to encourage sharing.
- The search should work with quotes like google ie "orange desserts" (it doesn't really, but that's what they suggested.
- They're currently working on ways to reorganize/rearrange pins that we've already pinned. It won't be released any time soon.
- They are working on a Droid App currently
- For the funky views they recommended to make sure you're upgraded to IE9, the latest Firefox, Safari or Chrome.
- As for the pins not linking to the exact place you pinned they gave a link and a paragraph. I'll C&P here:
First of all, pinning from permalinks is very important. You can read more about why here: http://blog.pinterest.com/post/6006001862/pinning-tip-permalinks. If you're pinning from a slideshow, depending on the site's architecture, sometimes the Pin It bookmarklet can save the exact slide you're on, other times it can only return you to the general page. Unfortunately there's no safeguard against this right now, which is also why pin descriptions are mandatory and we encourage users to pin thoughtfully, including writing helpful descriptions both for themselves as well as for other pinners.
