Totally random but I saw you are at Spang. Do you like it there? People I have talked to here either love it or hate it.
Re: Ilumine
I LOVE IT HERE...EXCEPT FOR THE WEATHER!
I actually like the small town feel.
I love the topography of the area. The hills, valleys, pastures to go back into valley with deep forest rocks.
I love the fact that my DD can walk down to feed sheep or pet cow noses. I ADORE Eifel Park in Gondorf (we have season passes and was just there this morning) and being able to let my DD feed Elk and stand inside a pen with an owl
And the DoDDs schools have been a wonder for my SS.
I also love being able to go to Luxembourg or Belgium for a trip, not even a day trip, but just a trip to the mall. And Hahn airport is just an hour up the road, which has allowed me to fly to London and Dublin.
I ahve also been able to go to Amsterdam, Trier, Paris, Brugge, Normandie, Metz and many other beautiful places. I have eaten some amazing food, drunk some amazing drinks and seen some amazing sights.
I just wish it wasnt soooo darn cloudy/rainy and that clothes/shoes werent so effing hard to find/buy.
We will ahve to meet up and explore some together. I only have 14 months left and have tons left too do!
BTW Vianden, Luxembourg is having their "renaissance" type festival this week. It ends Saturday. They have a great festival in October too, the Walnut Festival. All things, to include yummy walnut creme liquor, walnut.
There is also a wine festival in a little town nears Piersport (forgetting the name), where you go from winery store to winery store and get a balloon. We might do that one, since Monkey likes balloons.
