Weather
I'm so sick of the heat. The high temp today is 110 (43 celcius) with a heat index of 120 (49 celcius). We have been in a heat warning for all of July with the exception of a few days. I hate that we can't enjoy the summer when it is this hot. I'm ready for the 90s!

It's been (and will continue to be) in the mid to high 80s here... though for us... we've had a bit more humidity than I like... but I'll stop there because humidity for us is a dry day for everyone else as I experienced REAL humidity in the South and East. I think it's supposed to drop to the high 70s next week....
I'm going to take a walk on the beach this evening... I absolutely LOVE summer evenings!!
It's pretty much the same here, gross and hot.
Yesterday we hit 104....plus high high humidity. It's so hot and dry that we haven't mowed in 2 weeks and it looks like we just mowed-the grass simply isn't growing. The only times I can get the dogs to even go out is in the morning and at night, typically they want to be ourside all day and they are HATING it.
Tara- I still check the KC news/weather pretty much every day and I couldn't believe when I saw the high was 108 today. That is absolutely craziness and I feel so bad for you guys- I know it's been brutal.
It's hot here, but honestly, I can't complain knowing what my friends in KC are dealing with! I think the high today is 98 but the humidity has actually let up a bit which is nice.
Tara- My sister has been traveling to St Louis for work the past week and is HATING the heat!!
I'm with the other NE girls - 80s for the most part and Sunny. A little humid out there today though!
Yeah. It is quite nice actually.
J -- did you get the storms last night? It was so weird here.The sky was all sorts of crazy, but we only had thunder and lightening -- but it never rained.

Dan's cousin (who lives in North Haven) was posting crazy pictures of the sky like that on facebook yesterday. We didn't get anything like that up here. So bizarre!
That is weird.... We got a decent storm at work (Hartford) but nothing outrageous.... No hail either - just your basic thunderstorm.
Think the same thing was true at home (Burlington) although there were a lot of stop lights flashing on the way home -t hey may have gotten it a smidge worse...
