Quick AW: quilt show
Ok, the quilt that got second in the crib quilt class is that pink/white/green one on the stage. And to my defense, the pattern is plain, but the quilting is amazing. This judge really liked fancy quilting, because the winning crib quilt was a piece of big fabric with two borders, but had amazing quilting (it's the other crib quilt on the stage). The star quilt on the table with the red sashing is also mine in the antique category (which was not judged), it was made by my grandma. Someone tagged me in this on FB, but I'll post more pics soon.

Your crib quilt is very similar to the quilt that was on my bed before getting engaged....DH has no problem with pinks!!! How lucky am I! (Our duvet is still pinks and greens but not quilted...he would prefer the quilt)...
I just wish you had made us that quilt instead of buying it from a store...big box store of massive-quantity-kind ...
I want to see more, please!!!

How lucky you are that the hubs doesn't mind pink! One of DH's favorite colors is purple, though (high school colors), so I guess that counts. I asked him before I bought purple CDs for DD (which we would use with any future kids, even boys), and he was all for it!
I've got four freezer meals in the works, plus canning peach pie filling and tomatoes, so it may be tomorrow before I get all my pictures uploaded!
