Fvcking Tuesday

Good morning girls, it is our favorite day of the week! <-----sarcasm.

Had a nice night at home last night, but i always feel so lazy on my rest days after a long run.  watched some tv, made dinner, traded massages with gerren, etc.  relaxing and lovely.  watched a weird but interesting movie and called it a night.

Going on a hill run tonight after work and making broiled fish.  I have been craving this fish dish for a couple of days now, so i am pumped :)

Re: Fvcking Tuesday

  • Good Morning Ladies!

Last night we cleaned the kitchen, Greg made BLT's, I am awful at making bacon. After dinner we were just lazy and watched some TV even though nothing was really on, so it was re-runs of American Pickers and Pawn Stars.I went to lay down in bed early because I was having a really hard time breathing.

I wish I had a time machine to fast foward to next Friday when we go on vacation and it also happens to be pay day so it's a double bonus day!

  • hello!

Last night was relaxing.  Caught up on some shows and then watched the new show for Shark week.  Makes me never want to swim in the ocean.  :-)

We're under another heat advisory for today.  Sad  Not digging all this heat!  Geez!

Other than that, probably going to be a low key day.....

  • Popping in from vacation to say a quick hello.

Weather has been fabulous since Thursday, except today we are supposed to get lots of rain....good thing we are driving to a camping site today. :( I guess we will just have to do more wine tasting so we aren't outside in the rain. I posted some pictures on fb.

  • Good Morning! The weekend was good (posting about it since I wasn't around yesterday). We hit up the lake Friday and dragged my poor pup into the water to cool him down. He hated me for about 5-10 minutes then he LOVED it. Relaxing weekend besides the SEVEN hours spent shopping on Saturday with my sis and nieces. It was them. Not me. I was exhausted after that.

I hit up two of my jobs yesterday, nursing home and outpatient clinic. Today I start back at the schools and do the outpatient clinic. I need to do an eval at one of the nursing homes but not sure if I'm gonna go tonight or not.

Jeremy has another (and hopefully last) follow up post-op appt today so he's in Dub with the parentals. We're dog/cat/house sitting for them this weekend so he's just staying there all week to save on gas.

  • Good morning.  Apparently DH does NOT like to be referred to as my roommate (I was trying to get him to see we barely interact).  This morning he said he wanted to fly away with me.  Why? Because we haven't had a trip together in a while and he doesn't want to wait until September.  Then he asked if I wanted to go to AC this weekend!  We used to go every Sept, and skipped last year.  I've been wanting to take a weekend trip there for a while now.

My boss is coming in late today and I don't really have much work to do.  Here's hoping the day continues in this great direction!

  • Morning all.

Grilled burgers last night w/ DH, MIL and Grandpa.  Was a pretty big spread.  I ate like a starved mad woman, it was glorious.  Also did laundry, dishes and my nails and was out by 9:30.  Super tired today.  Too much sleep I guess.

As I suspected, MIL is making noises about moving in w/ us.  (In the big fancy house SHE bought, but WE pay rent for.)  WTF?!?!  Going to have to put a stop to it right quick, but I'm really not ready to move again...Boo hiss!

  • Mary-we are on day 18 of 90+ degrees and getting ready to break a record.  Not a big fan of it either!! :(
  • DH put together our new sideboard from Ikea last night. So happy to get rid of the old oak bar that we have in our dining room. I made pork chops and did laundry, then sat out by the pool and relaxed. A good night.

Didnt want to come to work today, but did. I have an interview for another position on Thursday. Its 24 hours instead of the 40 I work now, which is perfect because my Pure Romance business is really taking off!

Tonight I am expecting a big order to come in and need to go to the post office to deliver some items. I may also try to do a local boot camp if its not toooo hot

  • morning ladies. I am like Brew this morning. Tired, but should've gotten enough sleep. Got up for a bit with DH when he left for work, but then went back to bed for a little over an hour.

Today is supposed to be our last hothot day for a while. Debating about leaving the air on for the doggies while we are gone this weekend or not.

Getting ready to leave the house to take SIL to the hospital for her preemie baby. I guess she has to take the car seat in there for some reason. I haven't gotten even one call from her for at least 2 or three weeks. Suprise, phone rings yesterday b/c she needs something. *sigh* I have SUCH an issue with crap like that.

DH and I watched "Premonition" with Sandra Bullock when he got home last night. A little confusing, but overall an okay movie... I though the ending was a little dumb though.

  • Tuesday sucks. And I detest Boehner. He fills me with furious anger.

I am going to be sweating my buttocks off later. I have a Relay lunch meeting at 12 and I have to walk there. It's supposed to be hot hot hot. I love my staff partner though, I told her I am trying not to be the fattest azz in town and she's ordering lunch from a place where everything is under 500 cal. Score.

Last night I went to Ross and got a dress and travel bags for Disney (both of which may be returned), then came home and made dinner, put two loads of laundry away, watched True Blood, dusted living/dining/upstairs/basement, packed lunch and gym bag (which will really be for tomorrow), sorted mail, and read some mags.

I just finished a dinker proposal and ordered black Sanuks from zappos. I love me some free shipping.

  • Em - awesome on an AC trip! I love weekenders.

Misty - hell to the no re: MIL moving in. HELL TO THE NO.

I wish Being Bobby Brown was still on. That provided me with endless laughs.

  • Welcome to Tuesday! Tuesday is known for sharting in people's faces and laughing hysterically, then running them over with very large machinery. Why we don't see this coming every frucking week is beyond me; apparently we are as dumb as we look. End.

Nothing going on today besides some work and a meetingish at 430. I don't have E tonight I don't think so I am hoping to go spend some quality time with the gym. My lovehandles will thank me later.

  • I swear, every Tuesday I wake up feeling like crapola and wanting to stay home, but then I look at my work calendar and drag my a$$ out of bed.  Sigh.

Steph - Let me know how the food is!  I wonder if it's this chain that some of the pg ladies were talking about.  They said it's very good, that you'd never know it's low cal.

Tbears - The car seat is for basically a stress test, to see if the baby tolerates the car seat.  They have to do it before they can be released.  Good luck for SIL's baby!

Brew - Oh no she didn't!  MIL move in?  I'm with you, I'd move out beforehand, and I love my MIL.  Big Smile

  • Jessie, dying laughing at your first paragraph. hahahahhahha hahahahah hahahaha

Mush - it's called Fuel. I will report back after lunch!

Oh,yes, I concur.  Anybody else pronounce it Boner in their heads?  I fight it so that I (at least) don't say it out loud.

  • Yes I pronounce is Boner...which he is so it works.
  • Morning!

Day started off shitty - I dropped my iPhone on the pavement and cracked the screen pretty badly so now I need to either get the screen replaced or just buy a brand new phone.

Then it got better.  Had a second interview for a great position I applied for and I am 99% sure I have the job.  Went in to meet with the Senior VP for Client Services and the first words out of her mouth were "this is not an interview.  This is a chance for me to get to know you and for you to meet a managerial level position here at the company before we hire you."  Then I met with HR to discuss salary, benefits, etc.  Waiting for an official offer letter / e-mail / communication *knock on wood*.

Apparently I now need to go to the mall tonight to see about my phone so I'd like to take H with me and have a celebratory dinner.  Hoping I hear something official soon!!  Don't want to celebrate too prematurely!

  • City: boo to the phone, but good luck w/ the job!!

And the whole MIL is driving me BSC!!  We got along great b4 I married her son, but now that I'm "part of the family", it's just too much.  I got home yesterday and she had gone grocery shopping and unloaded our dishwasher.  Shiit was all in the wrong place and she bought things we don't eat.  Um, hoping you're taking those groceries home with you lady and please don't help.

If you're trying to tell me I'm a bad housewife, this is not new to me nor DH, so get over it.  And stop nagging me to turn on the AC, YOU don't pay the bill, so we can stand to be a little uncomfortable if need be.  GAH!

Our old townhouse will be on the market next week, hopefully it will sell soon.  Then MIL will move in to our current house and we will MOVE THE F OUT!  There will be no sharing of households, or they may be a divorce in the picture... <--only half kidding

I did this a couple months ago. I have yet to fix it. The most annoying this about having it not fixed is when people see my phone they make no sh*t comments. "Oh, No what happened to your phone?!?!?" "Oh, No you dropped your phone?!?!"

When I am unlazy and go to the store to fix my phone this will be the reason why I get it fixed. The cracked screen really doesn't bother me that much,.

AMEN!!!  You pay rent, that doesn't give her the right to just move in if she wants!  Why would she want to live with newlyweds anyway??

  • AF is here.  DH told me he 'can't live like this much longer' referring to the cluttered state of our house.  And I go back to work tomorrow.

  • A pox on Flo, returning to work tamale and messy houses, SusieQ. A pox!

Shauni - Please submit furiosity to Webster's. I like it.

Mush - first, Fuel was good. I got a smoked salmon wrap with some jazz in it for about 365 cal. I liked it a lot. Also, I say Boner in my head and out loud because, as Jessie pointed out, he is a boner.

    image
  • Susie - tell your H there's an easy fix - he can f'ing clean!  WTF?  It's not like you're sitting at home eating bon bons right now, you're caring for an INFANT.

That reminds me of my H's bad habit of using the royal "We" when he says things in a way that is not accepting responsibility.  "Apparently we forgot to take the trash out" - on a night when I was away from home.  There's no "we" about it - HE should have done it, and didn't.  I've told him to work on it, lol.

Steph - Glad Fuel was good!  I'm not even going to tell you what I initially read your sentence to say ('some jazz in it').  Oops, I think I'm telling you.  Embarrassed  I was like, whut?

On Boner, I was seriously pissed that he couldn't bring his party together on the deal he and the President had worked out, and then pulled that BS on not returning the POTUS's calls, and telling the press before the POTUS that there was no deal.  If you can't lead your delegation, stand aside and let someone else give it a try.

It stinks, doesn't it?  Mine is cracked so badly I can barely even use my phone now.  I dropped it face down on hard pavement with no cover on it at the time. Stupid.  I had a 3G phone before then upgraded to the 3GS.  I'm just using my old phone now until I'm due for an upgrade so I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for a new one!!
