Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

cute kiddo moment
So, the little dude can't say Jacki, and has been calling me Gonnie. We are quite good buddies now and he is always happy to see me and show me things like a tomato he picked, or a dead bug, etc.
Usually on Saturday and Sunday evenings we all hang out at their house and he gives me a hug before M takes him upstairs for bedtime. The other night he was pretty ornery about going to bed and was too busy squirming to hug, so M took him upstairs.
Not two minutes later I hear him come stampeding down the stairs and he races into the living room and flings himself into my arms. Apparently they got upstairs and he asked, "Hug Gonnie?" It was the sweetest thing ever. I love that kid. It's the coolest thing, obviously I'm not his mom nor am I trying to be but we are getting a pretty cool relationship and getting to know him has helped me realize I actually do want kids of my own eventually. He is one rad little dude.

I don't know if it is weird, or overstepping, to want to share cute kid moments about a kid who isn't my own, but he's just so sweet and awesome.
