I've had a craptastic week so far and I feel like I'm going to snap at the next person who bothers me. I seriously need to find a way to get rid of my stress. lol
Re: How do you de-stress?
Usually reading helps. I read a lot anyways, I guess that means I should be stress free?
Browsing a bookstore, or just the mall in general.
Venting if I'm really worked up. I created an online journal as an extra outlet.
My Profile
Um, yep. All of the above.
Only I don't smoke, because I'm a pansy and scared of getting in trouble. Before getting pregnant and breastfeeding (uh, the last three years of my life...) I took either OTC "mood enhancers"/chill pills or straight up Xanax to help with stress. But way more than that it was just me, some dark chocolate and a bottle of wine.
Mmmm Dark Choclate and Wine are amamzing.... Although I did quite enjoy the valium I was prescribed last Aug for neck spasm.
Red wine.
No, really. It's bad.
That said, I do also like to walk Lucy (our dog). She's sweet and just being outdoors (usually the stress is work related) is a nice break from the office.
Yup. I'm de-stressing right now! Ahhhh.
