Hi ladies how are you all doing? Whats on the books for today?
QOTD:
Were you a cute baby, or did you grow into your hotness?
Re: Morning
Hi! Not much going on here other than the usual.
QOTD: At first I was a little blob. Okay, at almost 10 pounds (4 1/5 kilos), I wasn't so little. Once I hit about three months and it was finally apparent that my head and body were two separate entities that were, in fact, separated by a neck I became a cute baby.
Morning
today's my Mums group, my mum's coming to take the pup for a long walk and in the afternoon my mum's friend is coming to see E.
QOTD: I was a little string bean, long and thin but cute
Good morning! It's a gorgeous springy day here -- I have my windows open!!!! -- so I was in a spring cleaning mood and I cleaned the house -- bathrooms, mopping and laundry is all done up. DH is in charge of vacuuming, so that will have to wait until the weekend. I have my dinner well on the way to started (macaroni & cheese with peas & carrots) and dessert is cooling on the table (decadent chocolate cake made in my slow cooker with fresh strawberries and whipped cream). Yesterday marked the close for the law firm accepting applications, so I am waiting to hear if I made the interview cut, and cleaning house has kept me busy and not out indulging in retail therapy.
QOTD: My mother said I was an ugly baby. She did not keep any of the hospital photos, and the only photo of me under 7 I have ever seen was so far away you would be hard-pressed to identify there was a baby in the stroller. My great-aunt liked to tell the story that her husband (who passed away before I was old enough to know him), thought I was the most beautiful baby he had ever seen. So I can't really answer the question. I'd like to believe my great-aunt's story, but I have more faith in my mother's assessment.
Most exciting part will be going to the Great British Beer Festival tonight.
QOTD: I was totally cute!! I stayed cute until about 7 and then all hell broke loose until my college years (thanks mom and dad for getting me into braces for my junior and senior years).
Good morning! I'm going to organize my wardrobes today. They are getting out of control.
pineapples, That sounds like my kind of thing.
QOTD: Yeh, I think I was pretty cute.
Today is going to be exciting. After work we are hunting for good vegetables and going to the firm's hotel apartment to steal wireless. Wow, huh? If we have time, we may even stop by the "zoo store" to buy a flea collar. My life is craaaaazy!
QOTD: I'm not really sure how I was at birth, except hairy and I had a big red circular birthmark right in between my eyebrows. My mom focused on that and figured she could identify me if they tried to switch me. I wonder if these paranoid thoughts are normal after giving birth.
But I was pretty cute from like 2 or 3 - 11 (although still hairy), but when puberty hit it was bad for a few years. I think I looked decent again by 15.
Good morning all. I was in a pretty kick a$$ good mood until about 10 minutes ago. Leo's been so funny with my mil since she's arrived and he is being really mean and bossy to here and completely acting out than when he is just alone with either me, dh or even bil. It's getting really annoying. And now this morning, since she's been awake, he keeps asking for food and drinks and then refuses and wants something else. I just yelled at him b/c I can't take it any more.
When Leo goes for a nap today a friend of mine, who is due in a few days, and me are going out for coffee to enjoy our last days of 'freedom' lol.
QOTD: Personally, I think I was an ugly baby lol. I was allergic to everything when I was little so all of my pictures have me being all red and rashy. I grew into cuteness.
Morning!
We are off to take Delta to her first obedience class! Wohoo! they said to bring "human treats" because doggy treats make them too thirsty, so I made her mini pupcakes (yes, I've gone off the deep end).
When we get back I have the cutest DH/Delta story to share. I just wish I had been here to video it.
QOTD: Sadly, as a baby, I look exactly as I do now.
Morning! I'm working from home today and probably going to walk to the grocery mid-day. I might work from a park this afternoon too; DH has boosted our wireless signal so I can get it from the closer corner of a nearby garden.
QOTD: I wasn't ugly, but I was bald until after the age of 1. My sister, on the other hand, was absolutely adorable. In adulthood, we are about the same level of attractive.
Morning!
Today I have to finish writing an article while simultaneously watching Beth (who is currently smashing banana in her hair), make some major life decisions about this job thing, and get ready for tomorrow's interview.
QOTD: I was cute as a baby, but when I was a kid (maybe seven?) I had a dead front tooth and huge glasses. Not so cute. I think I got cute again at 15, when I got contacts.
Good morning! Busy day here...our stuff finally arrived yesterday, so I spent most of my morning putting things away. I'm not quite finished yet, mostly because there are so many things that I just don't know what to do with. I'll get there eventually.
I also set up my bike and trainer and did a spinning podcast this morning. I hadn't worked out since Friday, so it felt good to finally get my butt in gear and do something.
QOTD: My parents say that I was a cute baby, so I guess so...then again they have to say that. Based on my baby pictures, I think I looked ok as a baby.

2010 Race PRs:
5K - 24:57 10M - 1:28:20 13.1M - 1:57:29 26.2M - 4:28:29
I need to clean the apartment and send back my final copy of my work contract for the nanny job.
QOTD: I was cute
Although I was bald until I was almost two (just had reddish peach fuzz on my head) and had shoulders like a line-backer so my mum got my ears pierced because she got tired of ppl telling her how cute her little boy was, even when 'little boy' was wearing pink dress! As a toddler I had really short, but pretty red hair that curled at the ends. I soo wish my hair would have stayed that color
Morning! Nothing much to report here, I'm at work & bored already...
QOTD: I was a chubby baby and pretty cute little girl until I reached about 12 - braces & glasses changed that for a few years.
Morning. I have a headache this morning and oh so tired. I'm just trying to get through the work day, and hope a second wind kicks in or something. Trying to figure out plans for this evening, as we're trying to meet up with a few friends.
QOTD: I followed a similar pattern to others - I was a cute baby, but then glasses/braces/puberty hit and things weren't so pretty. I think I was ok once I got contacts in senior year high school.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
I've been up relaxing since early this morning. On my to do list today is exercise, work, laundry, maybe some cleaning, and getting my grocery delivery.
QOTD: I was a cute baby, very tiny. This cuteness was followed by some awkward years though.
Morning! I just woke up. I cannot continue this routine until the baby is born, but I'm treating myself for a little while. Nothing to do today -- just wash some baby stuff that was a gift from some cousins and organize it into storage bins (most of it is for 1year onward) and watch Desperate Housewives.
QOTD: Eh, I've always thought I was a bit of an ugly duckling until I reached my teen years. My hair was all over the place, I was awkwardly proportioned, etc. Now looking back I think as a baby I was fairly adorable, but from 3-11 I was kind of awk.
H just got back from 2 1/2 weeks in Indonesia so we got to catch up over a lovely lunch and we're planning on meeting up with friends for pub quiz tonight.
QOTD: My mom called me a Buddha Baby because I was so big. In fact I broke my collarbone during birth because I couldn't squeeze my fat azz out. I was okay during the kid years, SO AWKWARD from like 11-16, then things got okay after then.
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Afternoon ladies! Not a lot going on here...work and laundry, but DH and I are going rock climbing tonight for date night, so that should be fun!
QOTD: I wasn't "JHC put a bag over that thing's head" ugly, but I wasn't winning any Gerber contests either. Probably somewhere in the middle...reasonably cute, but still retaining the ability to puke all over your new outfit...which definitely takes away from the "cute" factor.
Just running some errands today and then going out with friends tonight.
QOTD: I was a cute baby/toddler but went through a pretty big ugly duckling phase from about age 9-16, at least looking back at the photos that's my opinion. Luckily in the last few years of high school things started improving.
Morning ladies!
I'm attempting to quickly read and catch up while W plays with trains and M gums bread sticks - but no promises!
We have a man coming to measure our house and take photos so it can go on the market.
QOTD: I was a cute baby - just like M, only with different colouring. Not sure what happened later though...
Weird, annoying day at work. When did I end up in a position to sit in endless meetings, send emails, make PowerPoint slides, and answer random questions in the hallway. I thought I was a programmer!
QOTD - I definitely grew into it. I was so ugly as a baby (birthmarks all over my face and general terribleness) that a stranger in the supermarket suggested that my mother take me to the Catholic church and have me blessed.
However, from age 7-15 my hotness was hidden under glasses, braces, awful hair styles, and ridiculous clothing choices. Once I freed myself from the shackles of utter nerd-dom, I did okay.
I'm looking forward to hearing the Delta story and updates on how her class went.
How can it be sad that you looked as you do now as a baby?!?!
