A Wacky Wednesday Chuckle
This morning one our managers sent out an email letting us know that Krispy Kreme donuts are in the break room. He is originally from the country of Georgia and English is not his first language. His email subject heading was "Krispy Kreme is in a house!"
Many of my co-workers also have English as their second language, so I don't think many people noticed. So I had to come post on here in case anyone else thought it was cute too
Please think it was cute!
Re: A Wacky Wednesday Chuckle
Maybe I am a weirdo, but that sounds much more delicious to me!
And the "please think it was cute" totally made me laugh.
Haha! It actually is fairly delicious, so I don't think you're a weirdo. I've been eating the small cups of Oikos greek yogurt in the honey flavor and I like them a lot. And I'm always a sucker for a nice buttered piece of bread or toast. I usually have some fruit, too. This has been my work breakfast recently.
Aww, lol.
Sidebar: I have a friend who was in Georgia in the Peace Corps when war broke out a few years ago. She got out safely, and then went back after it was over. People in the PC are so amazing.
That is funny. But when I first read your message I just skimmed it and I missed "the county of" part. I was confused why someone from Georgia was having language difficulties.
And good for you for not having donut! I have NO self control when it's in front of me like that.
