Have they showed Ryan's father before? What an a**? I see where Ryan gets it from.
Re: Teen Mom
I kind of agree with Ryan on this though. Maci invited Ryan to go to the aquarium with her current boyfriend. That is awkward. And they agreed to terms on paper, but because they are not through the court system, Maci can do what she wants.
Plus, I don't like Kyle. I think he is trying way too hard.
How about Cate and Tyler getting their first jobs. Um, why did you move out, without ever having a job.
Amber, she is a complete trainwreck. Did anyone see the previews next week, Leah is calling her Amber, instead of Mom.
I completely agree with Ryan. Maci was being a complete douche this episode and she even said she knows she can do whatever bc legally she has full custody. That's pretty crappy, IMO. She was angry with him because he said if she wanted to spend more time with Bentley on Halloween, she needed to come join HIS family. Wait. Didn't you tell Ryan the SAME thing when it was YOUR day with him on his birthday? She's being a complete hypocrite.
I also personally thought it was a little weird for her to have Kyle hanging around so closely to Bentley at his birthday party. I mean, I get it. He's her boyfriend and he cares about Bentley. But they decided to have the event together and it seems like she could have made an effort to include Ryan a little more. Who knows if editing just made it seem that way or not, though.
I'm normally Team Maci so this episode was disappointing.
Amber is ridiculous. Such an attention whore.
Farrah needs to learn that leggings are not the only form of clothing one can wear on their legs.
Tyler is adorable. Awww at his mom crying over his first job lol
I love Tyler he is the cutest thing and Im glad things are going well for them.
Farrah has got to be the biggest B out there.
Amber is mentally ill and needs intense treatment.
Maci who i usually like irked me a bit tonight but ryan is a shiothead and i cant stand him.
Ok, so Amber explained to her friend that she has full-custody, but she can't see Leah because she doesn't have her license and Leah is staying in the house with good old Gary and she's upset because all she does is stay in her friend's apartment and cry and think about Leah. So...why can't she watch Leah while Gary goes to work instead of sending her to the babysitter (assuming he still has a job)? She could always move back into the house with Gary - they don't have to be "together" they can just be roommates so they can both see Leah.
Although, it's probably better that Leah spends time with a babysitter who is not Amber or Gary...
Do they not teach job skills in high school? I can't get over Catelynn going in to that store. She didn't look nice at all, has that awful ring in her face, and ust the way she talks. I know she's young, but come on now!
Amber is mental. Someone needs to get her help.
I'm starting to not like Maci. She's just annoying. I don't think Ryan's dad did anything wrong. He's right. Ryan needs to make all this custody stuff legal. It isn't fair that Maci can just take him whenever.
Farrah is Farrah. I'm starting to warm up to her though.
This, word for word!
I don't think Ryan's parents are out of line. Could you imagine if Rhine moved in with a girl and wanted Bintley overnight? I'm guessing Maci would flip her sh!t. And she would have some reason why it's "different" then her living with Kaahhhl. Rhine SHOULD go to court and get some form of legal custody of Bintley.
I starting disliking Maci last season, and even more so this season.
I think MTV needs to retire these girls (I think by next season, most of them won't be teens anymore anyway) and move on.
It's not that I don't think Maci and Ryan need to go to court and get custody settled, it was more how Ryan's dad went about the conversation. I felt like he was egging Ryan on and using Ryan's mom as bait. He kept saying how Ryan was "tearing her guts out". I just felt like the father was adding his own issues and guilt onto Ryan instead of making it about Bentley and what was best for him and his parents. I agree that both Maci and Ryan were both being extremely childish in last night's episode. For some reason, I still see Ryan as more of an a**. Maci at least tries to talk to him about things and invites him along and Ryan just sort of grunts at her.
I agree with the poster that said she couldn't believe how Caitlynn was dressed when she went into the store. I agree. A sweatshirt and jeans. Really? I wonder if things happen (like jobs and cheap apartments) for these Teen Moms because they are being filmed and people want to be on TV or promote their business.
LMAO @ Rhine, Kaahhl and Bintley!

I don't remember which episode it was (I want to say the first) but Amber and Gary both lost their licenses for not paying tickets. They make me want to vomit. You can't help what you're raised around, but these two need to take note of Catelynn and Tyler. They were all raised in crappy situations but Catelynn and Tyler are on the road to overcoming it. Amber and Gary will be continuing the cycle of abuse and just being plain trashy.
Maci has been annoying me all season. I thought it was low that Ryan lied to his parents and made it seem like Maci just completely excluded him from B's birthday.
But I have also said several times on this site, only to be disagreed with, that I think she moved way too fast with Kyle and he really shouldn't be this involved in B's life yet. It's my opinion and I don't think Kyle should have been at the family birthday party. I have a single mom friend who was dating her boyfriend for over a year before she let her son meet him. So I guess I am going off of that.
There does need to be clearer boundaries with regard to custody and visitation because it was not cool that Maci did what she did with regard to the trick or treating. But who knows what Ryan had possibly done that day that made her fly off the handle like that (I found that to be pretty out of character for Maci, to be honest).
Farrah is a huge B. I cannot stand anything about her from her hair, her clothes, her facial expressions, her mannerisms, her voice. I did LOL at her mother saying, "I have an Executive MBA" and then at Farrah's teacher for saying asian fusion and italian don't belong together. We have an asian-fusion sushi and tapas place close by and I think that is weird.
I agree with everyone on the comments about Tyler and Cate's jobs and especially how Cate walked into that cute little boutique looking like she was about to give herself a facial and pop a movie in on a Saturday night.
I also hate Amber. She is so self absorbed. I cannot stand her constant whining and making everything about her as a victim. Poor Leah is the victim here, she will suffer the most from having such an imbecile for a mother.
LOL that made me laugh too.
I found this episode VERY tough to watch for several different reasons.
Maci (who I normally liked) drove me insane. I felt like she was so damn winey the whole episode. No - you don't get Bentley to go trick or treating. Get over it.... This is what happens when you are not with the childs dad. This is going to keep happening for the rest of your life (sorry - I know that is a bit harsh!) I agree with the PP who says she moved to fast with Kyle - and furthermore, Kyle should not have just up and moved without a job... Maci's mom is right - the last thing she needs is to be supporting him. And why couldn't he take Bentley when she had class?
Amber - as f-ed up as she is, I felt a smidge bad for her last night.... she needs help desperately and it was painfully evident last night.
Farrah - I felt like she gave a good effort into her culinary final - and felt bad when she was so defeated afterwards- although yes, her attitude sucked.
Anyone else notice Maci was driving a different car?
Yes! It seems like she has had a few different cars on the show. I thought "How many different cars does she have?"
Love the names- Bintly & Rhine.
I agree as well. Maci was my favorite in the first season but after she moved away and started dating Kaahhhl - I started like her less and less.
I am Team Ryan on this one.
I agree with the poster who said Kyle is trying too hard. Although it is great he cares about B, he is still not his child. It annoyed me that he was carrying B and playing at the bday party. If I were Ryan that would have rubbed me the wrong way. Kyle should have been more gracious about the situation and blended into the background. That day was not about him.
I think Maci moved to fast. I also didn't think anything Ryan's dad said was out of line. They love B too and he is as equally their grandchild. They should push Ryan to go to court. I didn't see anything wrong with that. And when Ryan called Maci and b!tch Ryan's dad was very quick to correct him and say that language was not appropriate. I don't think he eggs him on at all. He is acting like a loving grandparent who wants his son to have an equal right in the child's life.
"Cool, I'll swing by and fill out an app!"
Really????
Really. I rolled my eyes at that one too.
In her defense, I did not have a resume until I was taught about them as a freshman in college.
but technically speaking Cate should be a freshman in college, no? lol
Agree 100% with this... There was absolutely NO reason why Ryan couldnt have taken Bentley a few hours on his birthday. I would be much more upset with missing a birthday than mission Halloween.
And I think its disgusting that she would hold her custody over his head.
I don't know where I stand with the whole Maci/Ryan issue. Maci has been annoying me since last season: I think she's immature, I think she gets waaaayyyy more support from Kyle and her parents then we see on tv, and I am still baffled by why she drove 2 hours everyday to go to a community college. There are colleges in Nashville, why not transfer?
I think Ryan was right this episode but I don;t think him and his parents needed to act the way they did during Bentley's birthday party. Although, I think it could have been editing...
Cate and Tyler's jobs....first Tyler really loves pizza as per the interview, it was almost creepy. I'll behonest I don't think they teach kida about resumes, interviewing skills, etc. anymore. She looked like she just rolled out of bed for the interview. But i remember watching a few episodes of 16 and pregnant where the girls would look for jobs and they would be dressed the same way. I don't get it.
