Shopping Help! Rec your comfy walking shoes
All I really have are running shoes, flip flops and heels! I need some other casual shoes to take on our trip since I know we'll be doing a lot of walking!
Re: Shopping Help! Rec your comfy walking shoes
Honestly, my Reef flip flops are the most comfortable shoes I have. Even when I was doing a lot of walking during my recent trip, I chose those over even tennis shoes. I haven't found a good "walking shoe" that doesn't either just make my feet sweat up a storm (if not wearing socks) or doesn't eventually strain my arch.
ETA: My Reefs aren't just the flat, regular flip flops - they are a little more rugged and simlar to these (except, mine are all brown)
Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

for walking all day, i would recommend a couple of different pairs of shoes so you have a little variety on your feet : )
for weddings, i like those Clark's Privo ones that were mentioned above, as well as flipflops/clog type things from Born, and then of course a good old clog. Any brand that has the right shape will do (I got mine at DSW). i had a pair of ariat clogs that i bought in vegas after a couple of days of uncomfortable shoes, and those are WONDERFUL. not cheap, but fantastic. they only work with pants, though.
Dillard's has some dillards-brand that has a lot of padding inside, and they felt absolutely wonderful when i was walking around in the store, but walking for real in them for any period of time is like... severe toe claustrophobia. i couldn't believe it. they were so incredibly uncomfortable!!!
i am also a big giant fan of the Crocs flip flop. They are big, soft, squishy, comfy. i have a pair of A&M ones that I bought 4 years ago, and i think i finally need new ones because these are dying.
LL Bean flip flops are also the bomb. not the kind with the little skinny strap, but the ones you can get with cherries, lobsters, yellow labs, etc. on the straps. They are cute, and also really substantial, not floppy like cheapy rubber flipflops.
that was more than you wanted, huh? lol... comfy shoes are my life. i'm totally miserable at weddings without them.

So Tasty, So Yummy
I agree, my Reef flip flops were all that I wore on our 4 day trip to Disney a few years ago.

I loved these for walking around all day. I got them at Marshall's.
But like K said, variety is key. Even though they were super comfortable something on them would rub and irritate by day 2-3. I found things went much better if I rotated. I was not a fan of the merrills I had that everyone swore by. But I have giant, narrow feet so shoes can be hard to be comfortable in anyway.
