Greener Cleaners in Lincoln - so mad!!

Did anyone else buy the Living Social deal a few months ago for the Greener Cleaners?  I did and booked an appointment right away for tomorrow in order to get my house nice and clean for my kids' birthday party on Friday.  I just called and the # isn't working.  I emailed the company and the lady said she has no record of my appointment and is mysteriously out of the country and cannot call me back. 

I'm so disappointed!  What should I do?  Unfortunately, I booked this all over the phone (when it was working) so I have no written confirmation.  Grr.........

  • I would contact Living Social and see if they can refund the money.  Groupon seems to be very good about working with unhappy customers, hopefully Living Social will too. 
  • Email Groupon and let them know.  I had a bad massage experience, and even though I had used the Groupon to pay for it, I got a full refund (from Groupon).  Sorry this happened to you!

    ETA: Freaking DUH, you used Living Social, not Groupon.  :)  But I bet it's the same process.

  • Call or contact Living Social  

    Is it on your charge card?   Maybe you can cancel the payment?

    Small claims court?  If business is under, they might be judgment proof.  

  • Contact Living Social and they will refund you.  I tried to make an appt and there was no valid number to get in touch with anyone, it said they were transitioning to "new management" about a month ago.  So I emailed Living Social and got a full refund.
  • I was super unhappy with a deal I bought from Living Social (not Greener Cleaner) and I'm having a hard time getting a response for a refund from them. Now I did buy my Greener Cleaner deal from Groupon and within 10 minutes of sending them a complaint email, they refunded it 100%. After all of the complaints I've seen online about those guys, I'm not even going to waste my time.
