WFD when just you and the kids
DH will be traveling regularly now leaving more evenings where it will just be mom and kids. While I generally feed everyone the same meal, I might make something different when Dad isn't home. Frankly if it is just me all day for a couple of days, cooking while corralling the kids won't always be tops on my list. What do you serve when DH is gone that doesn't require too much time at the stove?
Re: WFD when just you and the kids
I usually do freezer meals, sandwiches, wraps, etc.
Most nights I make dinner with the girls underfoot so that wouldn't be much different (lol!) but sometimes I go to less work when DH isn't eating with us or gear the food more for the kids. (nuggets, sandwich shapes, etc.)
DH has meetings alot at nights...I'm really bad though and serve leftovers, cereal (for me), sandwiches, lil smokies in crescent rolls, nuggets, etc...mostly quick and easy stuff that I usually make for lunch. A meat, a veggie and a fruit. If I can get all that in, I figure it's healthy enough ;-)
