Okay, first of all...Mary's boobs. Cripes.
I thought tonight was pretty fun. My favorites were Sasha & Kent and Caitlynn & Marko. Melanie's solo was kickass, but Sasha's was not far behind. I think Caitlynn did really well, but there's no way she will end up in the top two girls while Melanie and Sasha are her competition.
Marko needs to be top guy...I can see either of the other two going home. I was impressed with Tadd the last couple weeks, but tonight he was just meh.
And. That whacking shiz was horrific and I think it was unfair to introduce a new style like that in the week before the finale. They looked like they were in a Disney movie.

Loved Sasha and Kent! I was really in tears.
Then something happened.... I lost interest. LOL I sorta kinda watched and FFed a lot of the rest. (Although I will also re-watch it when my SD comes over this weekend.) Generally, the top 10 gets REALLY good, like phenomenal, (IMO) and it's still falling below previous seasons. Top 8 and top 6 has had some good stuff but.... just now wowing me as much.
Melanie is awesome. Sasha is awesome. That's all I have to say.
Baking Blog
The last routine was the only one I loved. Sasha's all-star routine was good, but I thought everything else was pretty meh as well. The whacking routine... I gave it about 45 seconds before I ff'd and even then I'm sad I spent that much time on it. I didn't like it at the beginning of the season either.
I'm really disappointed in this season. Usually at this point in the season every or every other routine is amazing, this season I'm having trouble tuning in every week.
I really loved Kent and Sasha. Awesome!
And I loved both of Melanie's dances as well as her solo.
Tadd wasn't impressive to me.
I'd like to see Caitlyn and Tadd go home tomorrow.

Tonight eas the 1st time i really liked Caitlynns routines but it is too late for her. I think tadd and her need to go.

I'm really not a fan of Sasha. She can dance but I never feel the emotion from her. I've been really impressed with Caitlyn but I know she doesn't stand a chance against Sasha.
Get out of my head! Glad to see I'm not the only finding this season lacking. When Christina Applegate said this was the beast season so far I started wondering just how much sleep she's lost since her daughter was born.
I'm pretty positive Caitlynn is going home tomorrow, but I think she kicked @ss in her last routine. I immediately rewound and watched it again, I thought it was so good. I loved Melanie in the beginning, and I thought her solo was awesome tonight, but her duets have been kind of lacking for me lately.
I'm hoping Tadd goes home over Ricky tomorrow.
Melanie's hip hop was horrid. Like I had to fast forward through it because it was just too embarrassing to watch.
Chandelier dance? No thanks. Whacking? Eh. I wish they had talked more about the history of it (e.g., hails from gay nightclub culture, links with vogueing) but I've learned not to expect much from this show. All the other routines were pretty much uneventful.
The judges continue to annoy. I basically just fast forward through those too. It takes me about 20 minutes to watch this show, as I also fast forward through the dance explanation.
I'm sad. I used to love this show. Every season I like it less and less. I think it's because they've turned this show into So You Think You Can Dance Contemporary.
Let's end on a high note.
I think Marco is one of the best male actors/performers this show has seen. He's so expressive and open and I love watching him dance.
Melanie does the best female solos that I've seen on this show. Hey - you don't have to leg extension after leg extension to show you can dance (ahem. Jordan)! What a revelation! Melanie is a great choreographer.
My first thoughts were about Mary's boobs and that whacking routine. Did they learn nothing from the Russian thing? The chick who did it for auditions was cool. They should have saved it for results night and given history and whatnot.
I thought Sasha/Kent and Caitlyn/Marko had the only good routines last night.
Sasha and Melanie both did an amazing job on their solos. So did Marko.
The whacking was horrible! And the chandelier dance didn't really have any dancing...what the heck?
I think Sasha, Melanie and Marko are the only ones that really deserve to be in the final. I'm kinda rooting for Sasha over Melanie because I feel like Melanie dances too beastly sometimes - it just feels heavy for me.
And don't get me started on Mary's boobs!!

I agree. It's actually one of my peeves about the show.
I agree with this as well. Last night I realized that part of the reason that her solos stand out is because she actually understands how to choreograph a dance, and that it isn't just doing a random string of tricks.
She actually uses connecting steps to make her dances flow. Some of the pros should take a cue...they have some really disconnected, and just bad choreography.
I also thought the whacking looked a bit cheerleaderish.
I had to laught at the comments about Mary's boobs. That was the first thing I thought of when they cut to the judges. I noticed that after that first judging they positioned the camera so it didn't show quite as much. Thank you!
The music for Melanie's hip hop routine was terrible. I absolutely hated it.
I wish they liked Ricky more. I think Nigel is so obvious when he wants someone to get the boot.
Why do they insist on dressing Caitlin like a hooker?

Melanies solo was so good, she really does know her choreography, I think Sasha is an amazing dancer but I sometimes dont connect with her if that makes send. Caitlyn was awesome last night as well
Pretty sure a girl will win this season and it will be Melanie....hopefully lol
